LJ idol
man there's a lot of
therealljidol entries to read; I'm only almost halfway through the third page and I've got five more to go by Monday evening. And this is how it will be from now on; constant reading until idol ends, or until I get dropped from the comp.
I dunno how I'll go, constantly worrying about contestents pleading for votes in their LJ. it's a very big threat for me. -- I have decided that anyone who I find is pleading for votes in their lJ, I am automatically not going to vote for, regardless of if I like their entry or not.
I needn't take it so seriously, but for some reason I am. I want to prove to myself that I am as good a writer as i use to be, and, as has been said many times by me, I can't do that if I'm playing with cheaters.
but, I have thought about this a lot, in terms of how music idol is played and such. I guess I have been overlooking the fact that during such Idol games, there are constant promos, inviting the public to SMS their votes for each contestent. -- so I shouldn't see a problem with LJidol contestents doing this; it's only when they plead for votes for their own entry that I should still worry about. -- so OK then. *sigh*
I just read some entries, but I will continue when i come home from singing.
It's forecast 26 today; lucky for the gran-final! "go the pies" being my somewhat unique tradition, even though I don't think they've been in a grandfinal since 1968!
nah I don't give a crap who wins, as long as there's no raging parties near me tonight/tomorrow morning!
Will document that fight from last sunday later on.
I've had such a full-on few weeks. i look forward to having this one off.
