Well all seems a little better with the world today. I actually had gone to bed for a bit last night, and woke at 8.30. then we had a midnight feast in the way of peach popcorn at 12 Lol! I was feeling on the mend after that little sleep last night. then this morning I actually was fully awake (wanting to get up) kinda early but I went back to sleep and Glen woke me at 11.45. then I got a shower and had breakfast and now Glen is cooking beaf Stroganoff. also we had some South Americna chocolate :) .. Glen has had to go down to the store a few times, and finally he thought "chocolate" which was kinda ironic cos i only whispered it.
So yeah, for once I don't feel like I should be in bed every second of the day! it's my final week here. Hope we can catch up with Vicki and Betty again! they were awesome! :) and probably Monika and her crowd (though I didn't click with them as well - but I did know betty and Aaron before hand; got to remember that). I decided that I really want to get a cocatiel when I get home. I fell in love with Vicki's. and also we've still got willie's cage! Mum will kick up a stink but it's my life not hers! If I can save for US, I can save for anything!
Oh Glen has the complete ABBA box set, and he is going to burn it for me! I have only ABBA gold and I will have everything they ever did, plus some more unreleased stuff. I looove ABBA soooo much! they are just amazing, and, man, magical babes! (Glen has a fake cat! it sits on the loungeroom couch and meows and purrs when it senses light). believe my sis

Emailed DW yesterday but I doubt I'll hear from him since emailing by phone isn't practical! we'll probably talk when I get home. I do miss him. he's probably not exactly too happy with what I said but ah well; wasn't being dishonest. am just wanting to be fair! anyway I can't believe I feel almost normal again! yeah for that! .. thanks to Iron tablets I think! and zoloft. I no longer feel or look like a bitch!

last night when I read your post about how you were feeling down I wanted to say something but the comments were disabled...I felt so bad for you.
Being away from home can do that to you. [I couldn't make it to miami this time around, but I went on a four day vacation on the other side of the island...geeze it felt like being away from home for months! homesickness bigtime... so I can just imagine how you feel being away for so long.

cheer up kiddo... at least when you get back home, it will feel like paradise to you:) hang in there!

aaah thanks for that! *hugs* yes I sent ya my temporary phone number in case ya came down but there's always other times! .. thanks for the kind words! yes, will probably not know myself when I get home. felt so miserable last week though cos was so sick. am not sure why but ah well. good old iron tablets; work wonders! :) Hope all is going well for you! haven't read hardly any friends page since I've been here. but I will go back and have a good catch up on individual journals when I get home.

glad to see your better. and cockatiels make excellent pets I recogmend a tame one cause they are easier for you to handle also they bond to you a lot better. smiles widgie is going great himself. smiles.

yes, knew i'd hear from ya sooner or later :) .. the one I saw here was extremely tame. could not get over it! .. and she/he didn't seem to poop out the cage either which is of course another good thing! do yours fly around sometimes? can ya catch them all the time? Vicki's (the girl who has one here) clipped its wings but I am not sure I would do that.

I use to clip widgie's wings but he learnt after a while to compensate for it so I found the whole process rather useless. yes they do fly around but the more time you spend with them the more likely they are going to just come back to you. usually I notice that widgie likes going to the curtains on the windows and sitting on them and chirping at the other birds outside.

Haha you know about my kitty! Awww. It's sooo cute.
I'm sooo glad your'e feeling better. I ws worried. But yay for feeling better! Woohoo! lol
