I've never been a real big party animal as a rule, so while the majority do go out of a night and rage til all hours, my idea of a great weekend is kicking back with one or two of my close friends either at their house or mine, and then perhaps dinner. Also relaxing with my sweetie when I have one, chilling at their place or mine; nothing like it.
When I was working (and indeed, when I get another job), I may sometimes prefer just a quiet weekend to myself because I'd been on the go all week, but at the moment since I'm not working, it doesn't matter what I do.
In other news, I was quite hungry after my big cook-up yesterday so I dished me up a bowl and I was surprised how tasty it was. I was beginning to think I may not like it with the amount of zucchini but I loved it; seriously, and for something I'd done? I have to say, I was so damn proud! -- But it's my journal so I can say what I want to, right? Loll :)
I got about five containers worth to put in the freezer and did up another bowl for dinner tomorrow night.
I'm in a cooking mood. I wanted to make these chocolate chip cookies today, but think I will wait to do that Friday since I've got to perform some maintenance on my only mixing bowl; that is, try and get stains out of it that won't come out; may try eucalyptus oil. Also, I am unsure what flower I have as I've put both into two canisters which I haven't brailed yet. So I will get Dad to help determine them for me when he comes over later; I don't want to double up if I can.
And I've got six other canisters I can put all my ingredients into and then Braille on them; how organized will I be? Will make baking so much easier.
I wanted to be able to make some cookies for tonight, but I will just make them Friday and keep one tray for the weekend and give one tray to Dad to take home when he picks Heartly up.
Also
thecrazykiwi has given me the recipe they featured on their show week before last which I'd requested; sounds nice and I shall also give that a try next Saturday; it's an Indian lamb dish; mm.

The lamb dish is Indian, they love their lamb things. And I love their lamb things too. lol.
