Botany Bay

My fave Australiana song from our singing sessions at primary school (I mean it's sad but it always had an impact on me) anyway this is not finished but I couldn't wait! It's a bit scratchy in parts of the chorus but again, couldn't wait!
this was my day! Lol tomorrow is verses 2, 3, etc.
I decided I wanted to try and do this song last night while tucked up in me little bed with my electric blanket on 1 (as it was sooo cold!) I wanted to immediately get up and start it, but I had to calm myself down and tell myself that my puter along with all these little guys and gals would still be "here tomorrow" I think! :)

Amazing!

Woops, yeah for command errors in phoniems when I consciously wondered if I should be listening to Kit's final version before I converted it to wav! that'll teach me! Lol
hmm harmonies could never outdo [livejournal.com profile] sjtaylor or (dare I mention his/her name for fear of being killed? better not! :)
but dang, I'm proud of this!
and I've got the sorest throat I've had in a while and sooo didn't sleep well last night. and when I did, I had interesting dreams about buying cars then figuring what a waste of $3000 it was since I can't use it. so was lending it to others to joyride!
I was also in U.K with [livejournal.com profile] enchanterglen as he lived there instead of US! Lol
