rdfreak | (no subject)

well I went to the Bigbro auditions today. man, we were cuing for close to eight damn hours! my feet ache, my skin (cos I got rather sunburnt :( poor me! damn me for not wearing sunscrene or a hat! my face is sore! Everything is sore. and as the games were so visual, well .. that and probably my lack of energy, I didn't geet on. I met up with

52girl and, was she the bestest ever sighted guide ever! We both certainly gained a friend if that's all we did from today! Her and I seem quite alike too! so it's great!
and well I am sad I didn't get in but I knew that it was either being on BigBro or the trip to the US in july so had either one to look forward too. We could technically go tomorrow and try again but nope nope, I will just accept my fate and pass. :(
I will explain the games tomorrow, but right now .. I notice LJ seems to be back up! (wohooo for LJ! :) and since like everything on me is very sore and sorry for itself (man my sunburn kills - got it on my hand and my arms too; when oh when will I learn?! I might flop down on me bed and read friends page. Oh and btw as if my day couldn't get any worse, I found myself on the train at Flinders with about thirty or fourty loud drunks, and when I say loud they were damn loud! they were yelling and singing and whistling at the top of their voices, banging things, kept on trying to open the doors, shouting at their friends and hence holding the train up! luckily they got off at glenferry! they were even loud out there when the train was pulling out. Just what I needed to end my crap day :( yeah then I went to parents. Mum was glad I didn't get in as I had suspected, but at the same time seemed fairly supportive of my determination and my sad sufferage.

hey thanks for that! yeah I wish the first impressions of applications didn't solely rely on visual stuff - it just = impossible for us, but .. who knows .. hopefully one day things might change in that regard. Thanks again! :)

wow! amazing you picked my username! well am glad to meet you and glad you enjoy my LJ. don't hesitate to add me as you then won't have to come to my LJ all the time. you'll just have to read your friends page. btw, thanks for the compliments in a later post. I try to be strong and always say it like it is, but unfortunately it doesn't always work out quite the way I want.
