Wow, just then I called Air New Zealand (as we are told to confirm our flights 72 hours before hand) and it's all good to go (in his own words :) so yeah! and i just emailed Rich the flight number and stuff! Only thing is, that we're on a different plane going to SFO from Aucland then the one from Melbourne to Aucland, but I spose that will be taken care of. I mean I don't know if we have to go through the process of getting our luggage ourselves and transferring it ourselves! tthat's gunna annoy me if that's the case! though I know I'll be helped every step of the way!
yeah! me looking forward to airline food! I think airline food is pretty good actually! :) we are certainly well looked after! :)
Well haven't heard from Chris or Milos yet but they may come later, may not! Lol .. also Mark (from course) called and as he'll be working here in kylie Minogue's street (Lol) he's gunna come and drop the harness off! Nan fixed the old one up with a pair of old kids cissors for a D Ring (that has finally fallen out somewhere near the crossing at Blackburn station, never to be found again :)
and I am looking forward to seeing tara tomorrow! then Nan coming on Saturday and going to have my last family meal! lol then waking up early on sunday and going to airport!
Hope I'll sort out the prob with my minidisc. will have to get another power supply for the rechargible battery! *sigh*

okay, youre melb to NZ, then NZ to san fran?

if thats the case, then youll have to collect your luggage at san fran, for customs.... then again at your final destination [but no customs at your final destination.]

also, when you LEAVE australia [melb] youll need to fill in a err... leaving passenger form or something.
and when you arrive in san fran, youll need to hand over a i-94 Visa Wavier Form and a customs form [along with your passport.]

will you have someone to fill these out for you?

oh, and your luggage in SF, you collect it, clear customs -- after that, you will NOT have to get it "checked" agian, but they will just take it off you and send it to the final destination.

but they will tell you all this when you check in at melbourne :)

Sometimes it's good, but sometimes it's not. I usually like the stuff that's not made by them, (i.e., the Oreos and crackers and candy and drinks).
