Subject: Important Plan Change Notification: Free migration to ADSL2+ (racheldk)
Dear Valued Customer,
Due to a significant increase of wholesale prices by Telstra, we must advise
that we are no longer able to offer your current ADSL plan,
512U/20GB.
However, we would like to take this opportunity to provide you a FREE
upgrade to TPG's next-generation ADSL2+ service!
ADSL2+ is the next generation of broadband, with speeds of up to 24Mbps.
For more information on TPG's ADSL2+ service, please visit our FAQs at
https://cyberstore.tpg.com.au/your_account/faq_migrate.php
To accept the FREE migration offer, please visit
https://cyberstore.tpg.com.au/your_account/migrate.php
before 8/10/2006. You will be able to choose from any of our current
ADSL2+ plans.
To achieve the maximum possible speeds of up to 24Mbps, you can purchase
an ADSL2+ compatible modem if you do not already have one. However, even
with a standard ADSL modem you can still achieve speeds of up to 8Mbps on
the ADSL2+ service.
After migration to ADSL2+ your current "Terms & Conditions" will continue
to apply, however we do require a minimum 6 month commitment from you for
the new ADSL2+ service. (Where your remaining contract is longer than 6
months, the longer commitment will remain.)
Please keep in mind if you do not accept this FREE upgrade, you will be
required to move to either a more expensive or slower ADSL plan, listed
on our web site, in the very near future (or after your current contract
expires).
Remember, to accept this offer please visit
https://cyberstore.tpg.com.au/your_account/migrate.php before
8/10/2006. We look forward to providing you with our next generation
ADSL2+ service soon, and thank you for your ongoing support.
Yours faithfully,
TPG Internet

So M was already put on there but he has got a 20 G download thing a month. The above page offers anywhere from a few Meg to 25 gig but the closest one is 18 gig, so it's different. nearly 50 a month? almost cutting it! ah well! I get way higher upload speeds!
I get a static IP address too which will be good for my new ftp server.
Til next time, RdFreak
