end of another, um, chapter
Well, M just called me and I've quit my online subject. She understood (as she always had) about my struggles with the online component, both with the motivation levels (my personal problem) and the technology issue (with not being able to participate in the online chat cos of stupid jaws and java.
She had pointed out that she sent a list of subjects for next year and I acknowleged I'd recieved that in the mail friday. I would have still been interested in going back to repeat it (and other subjects)on campus next year, but had told her for now I am waiting to hear back from unis, (well didn't tell her that, just told her I was thinking of studying elsewhere). So if all that goes by the bucket (if I don't get any offers next year) I'll think about repeating on campus next year.
She was saying how much progress i'd made which, i totally hadn't! - well maybe with the drafts but even I don't think I did - but, we were talking about difficulties with all aspects of study no matter what I do.
anyway so now I just concentrate on applying for jobs (with the help of wise of course), and possible study for next year, and of course, writing which I do want to continue still without the demands of finishing pieces by a certain time, and word limits! Lol
She course told me to keep up my writing and I told her about my online blog, so may send another email to both her and a and apologize in writing (even though I did do it on the phone) and also link them to this if they want.
I feel bad for doing this of course, like inconveniencing people but ah well. it's done, and no harm done according to her!
Am off to parents tonight for lasanga. Mum asked me when i called this morning. I'd asked her what the occasion was (as she hates cooking it) but she said there was none and they'd just bought the fresh ingredients from the market yesterday.
so will head over there later.
