Mulled wine or apple cider?
sider (but hardly have it. in fact, I don't know if I have had it, Lol but definitely not wine! alcohol=yuk!
Turkey or Ham?
Both.
Do you get a Fake or Real Christmas tree?
this unit too small to get something though I keep meaning to buy something resembling a fake tree. my parents have to have a fake tree cos of Mum and angie's Asthma which sucks as I love love love real trees!
Decorations on the outside of your house?
no not yet.
Snowball fights or sledding?
both, but we only get a chance to do that in our winter if we make a special trip. (could of had a chance of a snowball fight in u.K on the day I left Preston. there was absolutely masses of snow on the ground! it was soo new and cool to me!
Do you enjoy going downtown shopping?
I do actually. it's fun at christmas time.
Favorite Christmas decoration?
I love bells and glass balballs
How do you feel about Christmas movies?
they're nice and put me in the christmas spirit.
When is it too early to start listening to Christmas music?
any time before december i think.
Stockings before or after presents?
Um,, both. some years before, other time after! :)
Carolers, do you or do you not watch and listen to them?
I would listen to them if we had them around here.
Go to someone else's house or they come to you?
We take it in turns. the last couple of years have been at parents place. this year it's at my cousins, and it use to always be at Nanna's.
What do you do after presents and dinner?
continue to chat and laugh (as my relos do best. sweet sounds of my aunty's high-pitch laugh can be heard for miles around I'd say! :) Clean up eventually. in the past, uncle pete has gone to sleep and everyone else dresses him up in christmas deccorations. that seems to happen most years! :)
What is your favorite holiday smell?
real chrissy tree pine, turkey and other roasted meats and vegies cooking, the desserts
Did you make presents as a kid?
not really. occasionally may have made something at school though ..
Do you buy pets presents?
No, haven't done so; I'm so mean!
Favorite part about winter?
that it's not the horrid season for our christmas! Lol ..
Ever been kissed under mistletoe?
no, but how romantic! Lol
Do you/Did you leave cookies for santa?
We use too when we were little.
Do you read The Night Before Christmas?
yeh use too. now I just get forwarded those sweet paridies. :)
wow, that kinda is helping me. feel a bit more christmasy now!
yesterday, wow! what a day!
First of all, got on a train at Blacky at around 8.58. sat down and could smell someone had been sick, so I simply got off at Laburnum to wait for the next train! Lol
Got a lot done of the documentary. next time i go there, we'll shoot it I think. also was talking to R about the voiceover lessons that are now being offered. might do that and make a demo CD. either that or I'll do the radio course with Clark S (got to call him, today I think! heard such scarey stuff about him but he's well-known and knows a lot of people.
anyway, on the way home yesterday, i decided to go get lunch at boxhill. big mistake! I immediately became disorrientated. after a while someone put me in the right direction of food court, and due to someone else's help, didn't end up at that Asian place i was aiming for, but a different one. The beef and blackbean was still nice but not as nice as the other place. i was just soo disheartened that I'd been there so many times and I still can't get it right, (remind me, i want to call the library and get some maps).
anyway stayed there for a while and went back to station with someone else having to steer me in right direction *grrr! shopping centres are painfully evil evil! :( but maybe a tactile map will help.
anyway once I got back to blackie station, I decided, like the nong, I'd catch the bus. and the driver, like the nong, forgot to tell me my stop, so he turned the corner when I'd ask if we passed it, so he stops to let me out. I thought i knew where I was but I didn't, and Ang ended up coming out to find me! *grrr just one disasterous adventure after another.
so then got home and just chilled!
later on today, am walking to docs up here to get ears cleaned again. doh! right one blocked.
