did I say how cool this was? :)

Wow, even though i had (and still have sometimes) a bit of trouble with this thing, it's by far one of the bestest things i bought.
I just went for a walk and marked some personal POIs (points of interest), being my home (I recorded the word "home" just outside my complex as I couldn't get any coverage anywhere up my drive then for some reason; but was planning on doing it anyway there.) then I walked to the safeway carpark and did another recording, then the bus stop, Mcdonalds (on corner) then went around the corner to the entrance of safeway!
then as I went back, it announced all of the POIs exactly where I had stood to record them, (using just numbers of course.)
oh and it did point out the couple of intersections I passed as well, though the timing was a tad out for one of them.
anyway sure enough, when I reached my drive, it announced my first POI.
got back and editted the POIs which I found them all and did without trouble. i deleted the voice recordings and named them all. it's soo easy to do. I thought I may have a bit of trouble figuring out how to do that (even though i read the manual, I wasn't 100% clear), but I did it all fine! it's soo cool!
I love it! I love it a lot!
and now I got to go and humt around for me receiver cos in all my excitement, i put it down on my bed, or on the desk or on me bed side table, but I can't remember where! *grrr Lol
til next time, RdFreak

Ah, RK, I am so excited for you! I have made similar raves in my own journal about my KNFB Reader. With you getting out so much more, going to work and meeting Melb friends, you need this, and I am so glad you were able to get it.
Love ya!
