So as if I haven't got enough, what with Facebook, Livejournal, this and that, last night, I gave in to peer pressure, and signed up to twitter. Yes, it was peer pressure, and peer pressure only! Lol (http://www.twitter.com/rdfreak).
I was thinking about it last year when in U.K, but I'd have to ask someone to sign me up and I couldn't be asked.
and times have changed since I first heard about it. they now have an audio alternative for the visual varification signup, unlike before. So I got it working with my mobile phone. I can't seem to find skype though in the devices thinggy, so not sure where that is, though know it's there somewhere! there's only google, livejournal and java.
Unlike with LJ and Facebook though, I am not going to have a big friends list with twitter. having SMS' ngo off all day when I'm at work etc wouldn't be that cool! so I am only following very few people; the people I like to find out about the most.
Also can be following the MainMenu feed now, which I remember hearing about as they use twitter to keep their listeners informed (not that I listened to it for ages, but anyway :)
Today [livejournal.com profile] jordina girly is coming over, and this evening, we are doing something together we've never done before, just us two! something that I requested we do, and I'd normally never, ever want to be so willing to do it. -- since I loved the chicken Kieve at that burnley pub so so much, and I know J loves them as much as I do, I suggested we go to that pub, and exchange the expensive price of $20 to them for a lovely chicken Kieve (where the garlic nbutter just oozes out of the skin; yum! :) It is expensive for a Kieve and chips, but if J doesn't also believe it's the bestest she's ever tasted, she can kill me!
We'll be also making choc chip cookies today four our eating pleasure!
Nan just helped me put the locdots on the oven so now am set.
Oh, dad would be in dubai now. I got an email from him when he was in Singapore at 3.15 AM Friday morning our time. He taught Mum to use email and stuff so she can keep in touch and do the finances etc. so now she has an email address which is weird to think about, lol! Mum, though the best touch typist (with the job she use to have), had, and didn't really care to have, any knowlege of how to turn a computer on previously. but not, not only can she use the net, but she taught herself how to SMS.
til next time, RdFreak

the doghouse task

Oh Lisa, while I've got you, was meant to ask you about this the other day. could you describe to me what was going on in that dog task where they were in the little dog houses? they were moving around, so how did that work? I eventually assumed that maybe they had it somehow over their head so they could still walk around, but I had no idea and was very curious about it and had been meaning to ask ya! :)
Thanks! :)

Oh that's easy to explain Rach. They were in cardboard dog houses...about the size of a labrador in height. They couldn't stand up - just crawl around and not see where they were going. That made it funny cause they kept crashing into things when they moved. And it just looked funny seeing the dog houses moving around on their own.

Well they weren't allowed to show any body parts and when they were moving about feet and hands became visible.
