Bits and Bobs (continued)
wow, two entries in two days; amazing!
I'd remembered something that happened in my LJ absence to write in here, but, alas, I have forgotten it now; will think of it soon I'm sure.
But Also I had forgotten to mention that a group of us had a get-together at Peter S' place last Saturday which was fun. He'd recently started an old Rock&roll show on the Global Voice, which is where I got my most recent internet broadcasting inspiration from.
Also, Monday night, I left my keys at work which was only discovered when I'd reached my front door, so, I had to call Mum and ask her if she could kindly come around with her spare set. Anyway, brought them home yesterday, Lol!
Think that's about all. I wish I can remember what I wanted to say.
Don't think this was it, but during my long absence, I did purchase a game called Say What. I heard it reviewed by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif) flashmaster and Darcy on Blind Cool Tech. It is an extremely addictive game. I ended up buying it from dealsdirrect.com.au as Amazon (where I'd originally heard it was selling so cheaply) doesn't ship to Australia.

Oh, and you know, since I sourced the game link to wikipedia, I was reminded of what I had thought of mentioning last night.
Maybe about a month ago now,Jonathan Mosen played a track on his show sung by a ten-year old girl, and she sounded just awesome! Incidentally, it was "mumma, He's Making Eyes At me" which I sung at one of the old RVIB concerts when I was six, but while I sung "ma", she sung Mumma. At the time, I didn't retain the name of this youngaartist, but I was chatting about it later with RB, and he came up with the name, as well as a couple more tracks. I then looked her up on wikipedia and read about Lena Zavaroni. What a tragic life she would of had; poor thing. I just felt so sad to read that her life ended so young. :(
I was able to then find a few more of her tracks on iTunes, but since she had so many albumns, can't think why they didn't show up.
Now that my hand is nearly back to normal, I shall have to do some more research.
Til Next Time, RdFreak
