I think I'm on my new 1.5 M broadband plan already! :) I was downloading my caitlin45's phone post before, and instead of it peaking at 27 to 30 M it was up at 102, 103 wohoo! :)
Now I can have better ventrilo on those damn higher sample rate servers. Lol and ya know .. like, wow! like yeah?! :)
it's good though cos I'm still paying exactly the same amount I was before. I have a 20 G a month download limit (which I probably won't use) but if I do it will only throttle back to 64 K so that's not bad! now I am on the same wave as the optus cable users in that regard, yeah to that! it's about time I feel someone else's pain I guess Lol haha!

ah how much are you paying for that? wow! I am with tpg (who I was also with for dialup before hand :) I am on the 1.5 M plan now whereas before, i was only on the 256 plan. I'm paying 49.95 a month. I am not sure if this is exactly the cheapest; I am not really good at looking around!

are you locked into a contract at all?

my dialup in australia is only $25 a month, unlimited download. and i can also leave for 3 months, and not have to pay any extra fees when i return. so i dont know if i will be able to beat that :/
i mean, it *Is* dialup..... but i dont think it will be worth me switching to broadband.
