wow first of all, let me promose a public post from ruuk. here She's young, feisty but course I love her :) she stands up for her friends and falo-citizens. She's not afraid to say what she thinks to anyone which I love, and is a quality I am working on myself.
Well done for the research you did put in here, and always, without fail, I've noticed, back anything up with it! .. that's awesome and something I could never do!

I am *no political-lover! far from it! I don't understand anything about it! But I understood that letter obviously and let me just say, with certainty that Australia is becoming equally as disturbing, I feel! our petrol is also going up (which of course doesn't concern me at all thankfully), but, .. taxes are going up (also a horrible thing which doesn't directly concern me. But I hate it when I see my family and friends work so hard, and their high taxes go to people on the bludge-lane. it also goes to un-necessary, I feel, renevations on roads, paths, all that jazz when there's no need). Also, this peeves me off a great deal .. the Royal family get to come here for free - everything paid for with our hard-earned taxes? What the heck is up with that sheit?! .. -- I have always been of the opinion, that no-one is more important than everyone else, and all should be treated as an equal!) And, the government won't do anything about this litter problem. I mean, I hear that in some countries, there are huge fines for littering! why the heck isn't it like that here? It just means we have to employ more cleaners which, I'm sure could definitely be money better spent! Also, more and more i've been hearing our our law system is getting more ridiculous! Serial rapests' and ppl who commit such terrible crimes are spending less and less time in jail! What the heck is up with that?! *sigh* so much crime, little is getting done! so many casualties a night that need hospital beds when other dying diseased sufferers need them. ah yes, shortage of nurse staff is climbing as with shortage of hospital beds, longer waiting lists,) yeah .. dare i go on? it is depressing as I think about all this. And, the government get treated like royalty too! and again, who's money is it using? Buying new things; holidays, chillaxing!
and not to mention, I was talking to someone yesterday about this. I remember back in my early daysh, everything use to be sooo cheap! but now, thanks to stupid GST and prices going up every week, everybody should feel totally naked if they're not walking around with at least a $10 in their wallet/purse!
I mean, when I wash a little tacker, I could get my whole Mcdonalds meal (cheese burger, large Fries, chocolate sundae and chicken nuggets for .. $5 at the most - no not kiddin man!) now, it's over $10. un-beep beep beepen-believable!

See what impression ruuk just had on me! the first political rant in the history of this journal! I am semi-proud; go me! :) Lol
OK last night dad came to share a pizza with me. Tonight I am going over for father's day dinner but Dad is cooking spaghetti of course cos Mum can't use her foot at all! she went to the docs yesterday cos her foot seemed to be swelling up more! she got medication for it and was demanded to stay off it!

i wish there were that here. i *did* hear a radio advert that said if you saw someone throw out their cigarette butt (or anything else) from their car window, to call the phone number provided, and they'd have the person fined, but i dont know how sucessful it is...

the only other place i know of like that is the bahamas. i went there about 10 years ago, and the biggest thing i was struck with was there was NO pollution there. littering got you a $500 fine. it was gorgeous- i walked around everywhere for three days, barefoot.

I dont' get politics either and i hate them, but your entry made maaajor sense. It's bad. I hate litter and I thik everyone shoudl be treated equally. Go Rachel! And I liked your music meme. :D I keep meaning to do it. I forgot how to put winamp on shuffle. And I don't have much music anyway. Waaaa.

hey, I only have winamp 5 (or something like that - really old anyway) and you turn shuffle on and off by just pressing S from the playlist window it will say "on" or off" respectively! :)
