I should feel ashamed, I forgot to mention australia day! so yes today was, still is for another hour and a half .. Australia day! I cracked ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tlx2 , Linds, louise_1985 and some others up in ventrilo this morning by proclaiming "yeah it's Australia day; not that I know what it means exactly) but yeah, think it's Australia's birthday! in fact I'm sure it is but I am terrible! I do looove Australia though for the most part! I am proud to be one for the most part!
anyway the power just went off for like three freakin hours! yes, me with no puter! :) but but .. luck was on my side. Though the files hadn't finished copying over to my iriver, about half had copied so I was able to really listen to some and get a good feel of how it works and I loooove it! :) I think the only things I still am not quite sure how to do is record? I am not sure how to do it exactly. I will have to listen to that review of iriver 100 on MM 2003.
and also I kind of figured out the crossfading but not while I'm just letting the tracks play, I so far only was able to do it when skipping from track to track on shuffle!
Well, copying from my other hard disc was taking ages so next time I think I'll go to bed with it doing that - so tonight I will put the rest on my iriver! I've got heaps of cool stuff which will entertain me on plane - top 100 count downs (yeah thanks thanks :) and a few of my fave albums! aaah, music is so magical! .. and I think I'll put a couple of movies and talking books on there too, just so I have variety! :)
Lol Dad went back to rye, and he's like "well I probably won't see you on the weekend as we've got ___ and that___ so it will probably be" .. me say "going to the airport if you are" Lol hmmm Mum's bringing case tomorrow so can start packin man! :)
So I was getting worried about my fridge and freezer while the power was off for soo long!
After a hot hot day, we got this minny storm! I've never heard such gusts of wind - I seriously wouldn't be surprised if it was a minny tornado like other parts of Melbourne have been reported to get for tiny seconds! anyway after about three of the strongest gusts of winds I've ever heard in me life, I heard three bangs and the power was off!
anyway the good thing was that I was pre-occupied with figuring out my most awesome of all mp3 players! :) am sooo glad I got it now! :) yeah for rockbox!
A public thank you and a huuuge thumbs up to them by the way! I couldn't be more happy! well I found a couple of bbugs but I am sure they'll be fixed in later releases and they don't stop any major reading so that's good! :)
Well, now I've got the puter back on, what to do with it? Lol!
OK 7 days til UK! in fact, this time next week, I would be still on the plane, having already travelled for 22 hours. and I'd have another four to go! :) Well, lucky me! :) Lol
