Dear Valued Customer,
The ADSL Broadband plan you are currently subscribed to is no longer available due to a significant Telstra wholesale price increase.
In order for you to continue receiving TPG's Broadband service you need to move to another ADSL plan.
Please advise us of your choice by visiting https://cyberstore.tpg.com.au/register/change_plan.php and selecting the appropriate new plan. You will need to make your selection by 25/04/2006.
The standard $59.00 change of plan fee will not apply, nor will contract periods.
If no selection is made by 25/04/2006, you will be moved to our Value 1500/10G ADSL plan at $59.95 per month. This plan includes unlimited downloads and is throttled to 64k once 10GB is exceeded per month.
Remember: ** visit https://cyberstore.tpg.com.au/register/change_plan.php to make your new plan selection
** select your new plan before 25/04/2006
We appreciate your understanding, and thank you for your ongoing support.
Yours faithfully

Well I have been hearing good adds with dodo and optus so will have to go check them out among others, but I need an unlimitted plan, and I guess I got too use to having the 1.5 over 256 with this good old $49 plan! but ah well! all good things must come to an end I guess! if worse comes to worst the 59 plan sounds OK but I always said to meself i'd never want to pay over 50 bucks for the net! *grrr
this changing society is starting to believe that it is now possible to plant money trees, I swear! :(
til next time, RdFreak

yay for Australian internet?
Every time I see the Australian net plans, I just have to go "log" not necessarily at the prices, but at the restrictions.
I, myself, am paying way much more for net access than I should $108 USD a month for 3.0/768 and two static IPs, but then I run servers and do loads of scary things, and it's the best upload I can get in this area until fiber becomes more widely available.
However, in this country, it's near impossible to find an ISP (other than GPRS which doesn't really count) that caps your download speed. The cable ISP I was on for a bunch of years tried that, and lost loads of customers as a result.
