1. What was the cause of your vision loss?
Well, it is unknown really. the doctors say it's genetic but my family (and myself) tend to believe it was more like birth problems as Mum was in labour 36 hours with me and I was also born with a slight bit of serible pawsey (and I also can't spell it to save my life :) .. the docs diagnosed Leibours (can't spell that either, ha) for about six or so years but then declined that. so yeh I'm an unknown case, and it's really good .. not! .. it'd be good to know what it really is, so if the docs are right, maybe I may have a chance of getting me sight back in future, (not that I'd know if I'd go for it, but at least the chance).
2. What was it like for you in high school, such as socially, or academicly?
Socially I have to say it was pretty good. First year (year 7) was horrible as I was in a form group with the really "popular" bitchy girls, but the following year, my sister kindly moved out of her form group as i knew more kids from primary school and from that year on, I was a part of an ongoing group. academically, i could have done better. I had to have an intergration aid mostly and, though of course she was a great help, I was way too shy to tell her to back off and I think her smothering me kind of led me to do poorly at the same time - hard to explain. I felt different and in the end, my work did suffer.
3. How did you hear about the zone and what do you think of it?
Actually it was on an MSN tag of Liam's sometime in 2003 (he had an LJ but can't remember it now), so I decided to follow it. I was a community leader for a while but there came some issues. .. to be honest, I use to love it a heck of a lot more than I do now. I guess, it's obvious that as it grows, so does drama and stupid people. but it was better in the early years. I have certainly made quite a few very close, long-life (I'm sure)friends off it and I looove that fact; some which I met in U.K and U.S. I will never forget the zone for that.
4. Who was your very first crush?
hmm short and sweet -- my vice principle I think -- I had a habbit of falling for my teachers in the early days! yep!
5. What are your spiritual beliefs?
I'm a christian. haven't been to church in a while actually but I'm a seventh day adventice. .. Guess lately I have probably slipped more mainly I think because things didn't go that well for me last year, and yeh .. Feel free to talk to me more about that if you want.
Also in my spare time, which I of course have had a lot of in amongst uni organization, i have been playing quite a few games, and am just in love with the variety of them we have now! there's Jim Kitchen's awesome free games. he's been around since my dos days! actually we have corresponded a bit lately. He's got some highly addictive games. I downloaded the menu ages ago but started to play them again.
also been playing quite a few of Liam's free games after having listened to a review of a few on blind cool tech. and of course, not to mention superLiam. I still can't get past the boss level of the silver space ship but the preceeding levels, i have down pat! I will get there though, eventually! I can get soo frustrated though when i can't work it out and I know others can. I can be a bit of a sorry loser sometimes. and though have had a break from BSCgames I need to get back into them.
