to go or not to go ..
So I just got home from parents.
I did get a tad lost on Burwood highway but a nice guy helped me to the tram stop so that was alright. then I went to deakin and H (DLO) met me at the entrence of Deakin so that was really nice! I met up with M and she, like H was sooo nice! turns out M had spoken to Mary Maroni on phone. course I told them all about that and they thought it was absolutely disgusting! They, like me, strive for independence. anyway, we also spoke about transition program which I'll do. we also spoke about my formats for exams and stuff, and, course, I jumped at braille, but then I remembered how frustrating a lot of it is now! ah well, I'm sure I'll be right! .. anyway, I didn't say anything about my possible job; perhaps I could have. at any rate, I felt so bad that they were being so supportive and helpful and I may be taking a job instead. But not only that, I started to get excited about my course.
anyway, M walked back with me to the tram stop which was nice. she was soo chatty. I made my way successfully on my own back to bus stop on blackburn road, then to the station where I caught Mitcham bus and went to parents, (Dad wanted to go over some interview questions with me, being the employer himself. he did it with Ang for her new job).
We had indian chicken and Rice.
after tea DC called me (as I asked if he could since I had tried last night but number was disconnected. Basically I'd be working part time; one week on, one week off. wasn't too sure about this at the time (but more bout that later). He's now there full time and it would likely also happen with me next year. Also I may be called up to work during weeks off for a day; to fill in basically. anyway course we had a nice chat after all that.
My parents are very excited for me and think I should definitely go for it. they say I'll prob enjoy the week off, and course we all got to start somewhere.
I definitely will go to the interview and if I get the job, I will take it and defer uni I think and evaluate next year.
course I need to enroll there thursday morning but since it may be a race for time I am going to try call the education faculty tomorrow to see if I can either come in on another day, or talk to a course adviser online, and enroll then in my own time. Can't see why I can't do that since that's what happened last time.
So yeh, a bit to think about hey!
til next time, RdFreak
