BigBrother - day 8 (first nominations

Well, first nominations were done quite inteligently, but BigBrother was still very strict. He gave Thomas one nomination point for "not getting to the point quick enough".
But basically Kate, Bodie and Emma got nominated but because emma won friday night games she got the power, to this time actually take one nominee (including herself of course) out of the group but add another in. So she took herself out and added Jamie, and again she had to give reasons for this. -- if I want to be really analytical about it, I would indeed wonder why she did this as she'd only originally nominated him for one point and Kate two. but such is life! Lol! Oh, and this year while the first announcement of nominees is made to the house, the final isn't announced til ten minutes before the eviction show! wow! .. yes, again being an analytical gretel, she'd say "I wonder how much that will change the dynamics of the house? .. hmmm interesting!" Lol!
in completely unrelated news, the results of my blood test indicated that I am low in iron and need to start taking iron tablets for three months, then go back for another scarey test, *shudders*However, three months time I'll be in u.K. so, I will obviously go back before, or after. and next time, I will lay down to hopefully avoid another fainting eppisode!
After Loscha and my trying to do a bit of surfing around for cheap flights from London to Frankfurt, I will be speaking to flightcentre tomorrow, and if they can't do me a deal under $200, I will consult the websites again; namely zuji or expedia. It's certainly looking like it's gunna happen though, so either young B is dancing (no I'm not modest) or regretting having opened her mouth! Lol haha!
Oh, and another blast from the past today; I got an email from Liz D quite out of the blue, so found out she now works for VA. anyway she'd said that she'd looked at my web site. so back in contact with her again. I of course expressed my condolances for her loss a year ago, it would be now I guess!

I haven't watched it, but going on what you say above

if Kate was nominated and Emma was able to take one person out of the nomination group, Emma took herself out.
She then couldn't re-nominate Kate to go as she was already in the eviction group. Therefore she nominates Jamie who she had previously nominated for one vote.

also, regarding cheap flights. the only thing i can say is to be careful that your airline is known to be VI friendly as you don't want that sort of upset ona trip like that.
this is why i am going qantas to brisbane, as i know i'll be looked after.

ah yeh for sure! .. well, a German airline futhansa (or something like that) had a place to tick if you were blind and needed assistence, so thought that was pretty cool! but yes, certainly very important. guess that's another reason why I think I should talk to flightcentre - who I'm with for my main U.K trip.

fainting while giving blood

Rachel, since I am married to a fainter when blood is drawn, try this. It works for him.
Tell the doctor or lab or wherever you get teh blood drawn tat you want to bring in a container of juice. As soon as the blood is drawn, start drinking it. Don't wait till they pull the needle out or before they get the tourniquet on your arm, start slugging it down
This is the only time "the man" will faint. He fainted when he watched them draw blood for daughter#1 as well. But juice will stop this for him, so you may want to try it for yourself. Some people do not react well to having blood volume removed, even in little bits, so you need to drink as son as they get the blood drawn.
I hope your trip plans for Germany go well. You're just a traveling bee aren't you? *grin*

thanks shaz! I think way too much, is my problem. i use to be OK! .. maybe it's the iron thing as well!
and thanks! travelling to germany will definitely be a new experience but at least my friend can speak english as she was originally from here, yo! yep, guess I definitely got the travel bug in me!
