20!

20 days to U.K!
I'm leaving in about 8 mins.
Our carport roof is being replaced as I write. apparently Jim teed it up and they certainly started with a "bang" literally at stupid o'clock in the morning (otherwise known as 7.20 when I was trying to have my last minute dose for the day!) I allow myself to sleep in til 8 if I have showered the night before.
Yesterday was good; I felt refreshed. I got the lunches for all of us and had my sushi for lunch. I am told "they" do those vegie pancakes (not sure if they're the same thing) but am going back today to try one. :)
um, what else? Oh, came into work to find out about a shooting that took place in city yesterday! what's our lovely city coming too? .. nightclub brawls - in this case, left one innocent helper dead. :(
Oh, I am taping Anne of green Gables. nearly finished it, then will have to encode to puter. I need to get another plug, then I can just mannage to do it from vidio.
Thanks to the our personal human google (otherwise known as sjtaylor I will hopefully have the said copy of Space Demons today by way of visway. .. I hope the fact that I've apparently got six other items (long before visway), doesn't stop this. I mean, they use to send me heaps of stuff that I didn't even ask for! ah well!
yes, the above mentioned S is always found looking up things for people requested from email lists etc, hence the human google term hey?!
and now as the time has just approached 8.40, guess I will now walk to the bus stop, cos I haven't walked to station for ages; lazy me!

Wow, Anne of green gables is such a cool story. I still have a dramatised version somewhere which I taped off the radio ages ago.

I have the book of Space Demons. I loved that story as an early teen.

Those Japanese things were Okonimyaki. Oh Con Kno Mee Yah Kee.
