wow i wish my computers wouldn't react with the hotter weather so much; it's kinda annoying! -- this is this computers first summer - welcome!
today it got to 27; quite warm outside. and, it's not even summer yet and my puter sounds like it's gearing up to explode! wait til it gets to 40 plus (as seems to be the trend for our summers now.)
I haven't written in here for a while; not since I played with me trekker last. yes I had a fun tuesday with that again, but from then on, I didn't take it to work. In fact at the moment it's charging up as I didn't have it charged since last week; hope it hasn't lost its memory!
also had the family dinner for Ang's b/day last tuesday evening which was pretty fun! nice volleyvonts (excuse spelling as well.
I've been continuing to listen to neighbours eppisodes and have been listening to the plane crash and a bit beyond today; and I was truly so sad this morning listening to it! it's so freaky; it's not as if that sorta thing doesn't really happen, but some of my fave characters died in that crash!
Yesterday I spent an awesome afternoon at J's. caught the bus there, found me own way from there (for the first time) and Heartly found it well. infact, i had thought she was wrong so went back and walked down street again but she insisted on the driveway! It'd been a while - way too long actually!
Had dinner there and later on, got a lift back!
and, I have been trying the Facebook instant messenger, but I just don't know how to use it. I would have just put it down to being inaccessable, but a few blindies do use it, so will have to consult with them sometime me thinks! I have got my user ID and all that, but can't log in at all. can't find where to do it; but if I open a new window and go into jaws cursor, I can see where it asks for the ID and password but there's no way of being able to input the information. the window displays no links, no fin, so who knows?!But a lot of old school pals are on it (from being able to go and check who is on it) so I really want to chat on it! *grrr damn facebook! why can't it have a simple chat thing, like the old Viponlinesociety chat (that was set up a while ago), or something like the zone? ah well! will sort it out soon.
going to have those yummy chicken kebabs tonight; can't wait!
Home from work this week of course, but on call should I need to go in, and chances are quite high atm so will be here to see what happens. given the circumstances I hope everything is fine and I don't have to go in though.
I am working all through January though; fulltime shifts too while the others have some holidays. I'm not taking mine as I thought I'd save them up to go overseas later on. - the skies can't keep me away! :)
