finally, my efforts are rewarded! :)

Well, Well,, I would spend hours and hours stepping through the melody of the selected song on the ROMpacks with the two buttons on my PT-50, having first taken away the automatic play of the melody so I could do it myself.
Now, on the PT-82, I can do that, but I feel more successful, because the rest of the composition ie, the harmonies, drums and chords) will not play unless I am stepping through the meloddy correctly, ie. at the right time. Then, after the song is finished, I press the rating button, and I get one of four little tunes, determining my success at doing this. -- I love it!

I can't decide to wash my hair tonight or tomorrow; if I wash it now, my hair will take a while to dry, and will therefore, quite possibly mean I will be laying in wet patches, but then, if I do it in the morning, I will have to get up early! -- This is one of the big decisions I am facing most nights these days, cos I need my sleep ins for as long as possible! -- OK I will do it tonight, then will hop straight into bed with my new electric blanket. wow, who thought life would be this hard?
til next time, rdFreak

all those little roundish bumps on the PT-82 above the keys are lights
and you can play along with them, but you'll have to use your good ear to learn the songs!
