Well, i was listening to 3AW last evening and been listening all this morning, and there's no normal programming, but it's all about the bushfires! -- there's still so many burning out of control, and apparently the whole town of Kinglake is non-existent any more.
More than 100 houses have burnt down.
Up to 25 lives are lost, and it's said to rise today.
We had very heavy rain before and thunder, and it's fortunately a lot cooler here, but it's so sad listening to all the devastation on the radio.
Us people in the city don't realize how lucky we are in these situations.
OMG, I just heard that Tagety no longer exists. We use to visit a farm up there in my RVIB Burwood days; man! :(

No.

No.

Yes at one stage we did.
4. What kind of car did you have then?
My family had a porshce, of all cars for school kids and big school bags to get in and out of!
5. What kind of car do you have now?
They have a couple of bigger ones.
6. It's Friday night...where are you then?
Mostly at home; sometimes with a friend, or at a friends house.
7. It is Friday night...where are you now?
More often than not, home, the way I like it. occasionally I have events and social activities.
8. What kind of job did you have in high school?
didn't have one, though i longed too.
9. What kind of job do you do now?
customer service at ANZ.
10. Were you a party animal?
Not at all.
11. Were you considered a flirt?
Not at all.
12. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Off and on.
13. Were you a nerd?
no.
14. Did you get suspended or expelled?
Never
15. Can you sing the fight song?
what??? some American thing?
16. Who was/were your favorite teacher?
Didn't really have a favourite teacher, though I was in lust with a few of the female ones; Williams, Coish and Marasco come to mind, (ha ha it's out! :)
But in terms of a teacher i really connected with; Ms Rudea.
And I had a fave teacher at CAE .. Barbara B; she helped me so much, and she's still a great friend!
17. Where did you sit during lunch?
In year 7, it was by myself on the steps near the door, and the rest of the time was spent anywhere with good friends; occasionally not sitting but walking around, mostly in P1 (the intergration room) with friends towards the end.
18. What was your school's full name?
Vermont secondary College.
19. When did you graduate?
1998, yeah! :)
20. What was your school mascot?
I don't think I can remember. But we had the statement "lift up thine eyes!"
21. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
Yes I would, and I would do everything differently. I would actually give more of a damn and work harder. i also wouldn't be so shy, but then, we all grow and change. But I'd do my whole school life (primary included) much differently. :(
22. Did you have fun at Prom?
We had a few socials and i didn't go to any of them.
23. Do you still talk to the person you went to Prom with?

24. Are you planning on going to your next reunion?
I thought we'd have our ten-year-reunion last year, but we didn't hear about anything. I would ahve gone, and will go if i hear of anything in future!
25. Do you still talk to people from school?
Yes, but surprisingly, not so much the ones I was friends with back then. -- course I have most of my old friends, and other acquaintences on my Facebook.
