I'm here, finally!

I'm here in Dad's apartment. dad's gone back to work for a while after picking me up. mainly wanted to test this; rather dad did as he thought I'd get pissy if it didn't work straight away!
Need I have to remind my future self how long the damn flight/s were? it seemed longer than last year, but maybe that's cos we stopped in KL. And the flight was delayed in Melb, so we didn't end up boarding til like 3.45; I was already dead just waiting there thinking "I should be asleep now!" I'm sooo tired, but it's like 9.55 in Melb time so want to try and hold off going to bed now though it may end up being pointless. I can't sleep on the plane; I did doze a few times though.
The food was good, as per usual, and my iriver kept me great company and flight attendants were helpful etc.
It's cool to be back here (apart from the vagueness I'm feeling right now, but I am really missing Joy, and I am worried about her, because she is my baby and mothers have a right to worry!
Well, who knows if I can stay up. Certainly would be going to bed early tonight at any rate.
More later when I'm more awake. want to actually write about flights in better detail this time.
Til Next time, RdFreak
P.S. the puter time is Melbourne time and I can't be stuffed changing it right now. Indeed readers to my holiday blogging last year would be experiencing extreme dae ja vu right now as this puter was stuck in Dubai time back then.
It's now 3PM Sunday

Glad you arrived safely

Hi Rachel,

Glad you arrived safely, and despite the delays, the flights were reasonable, food, and iriverwise.

You must be excited to see your Dad, that's awesome. I hope you have a wonderful time over there, and yes, Mums have the right to worry :) I worry about Astra if I'm not with her, too.

yes, I found that out, though it doesn't always give you that option when you are playing with more than one person; I hope it will be fixed in future releases though.
and thanks for your wlel wishes; who are you? Lol; just curious :)

My name's Jess, I added you about a month ago. I'm from Queensland, a friend of Alice's.

Miss Joy is currently fast asleep at my feet, having had a hard start to the day - she went outside, came in and had breakfast, got patted and generally fussed over, talked to the braver of my two cats... She misses you a lot though! She is the sweetest, most well mannered little thing and I am thoroughly in love :) And Troy is too! He who doesn't like dogs is quite enamoured. I hope you're having a good time over in Dubai and your jetlag isn't too bad.

yes, she is certainly the sweetest little dog isn't she? She's constantly happy and wagging her little tail where-ever she goes which goe me hooked straight away.
Hope she hasn't had any accident though; I doubt she would have but they can do weird things in unfamiliar environments.
am glad she's getting fussed over! :)
