So yesterday C and shell came over. then last night C and I went to my favourite Indian! i swear I'm addicted to that place. but, crazy weather, it was about 37 C, then, after neighbours, just as we were going to head off, it started pouring, so we waited for a while then headed off, but, we had to go in stages as rain kept getting heavier. so it involved sheltering under the shop roofs and running til we eventually got there.
yep, it was nice stuff! Then we went to our homes, and it rained a bit more last night - a lot more actually; which, everyone is pleased about, always! This morning I called dad and told him about the constant stream of water on the left hand side of my basin. - it use to happen when I turned the hot tap on, now it's just happening all the time, and it's slightly worrying! Like, when I get up, the left side has about an inch thick layer of water. Every time I go to it, it's always there; not good! So me landlord aka Dad will come sometime today and have a look.
Looks like I'll be paying for the flights on my credit card as stupid me didn't think a few days ago to start drawing the dosh out! means I won't be able to draw it all out today, duh! there'll be a bit of a fee, but if I can't get an extension (which I don't think will happen cos of the sail ending tomorrow) I'll have to resort to this. - serves me right *grrr
Back to work next week!
last nights dream - well one of them was kinda interesting. I was still living with parents, but we moved house, and to get to this one, we had to climb a ladder! I didn't like this very much, and I was always in bitter tears! I wondered why on earth we had to be different and not have proper steps up to the house; instead having a ladder!
In rL, that's kind of like our attick story. dad now says he doesn't plan on building steps up to the attick any time soon, but will be leaving the ladder there. It means when he likes me to come up and listen to music with him or whatever, I have to keep using the scarey ladder, which is OK going up, but freaky for me going down!

OK, think I'm going to call flight centre now. the guy Geremy said he'd call me but 9.30 been and gone hey?!
til next time, RdFreak

I love Indian food. We hardly ever have it, because my husband has dreadful acid reflux. I could happily eat Indian food every week, though - I love rich, fragrant curries. Mmmmmmm.

I can't eat the hot hot stuff; it has to be mild. and yeh I get reflux too, but it only makes me cough heaps, and I do a little after that food unfortunately.

Chilli is one of those things - the more you eat, the more you want. If you find yourself eating Indian often (like a couple of times a week for a while), you'll probably find you start wanting to try medium hot curries, because you won't get the same good feeling from mild curries.

Chilli is actually addictive like that, you know - seriously! You know how you feel really good after you eat Indian food? It's because the chilli stings your mouth and your insides, and your body releases endorphins to counter it - so you get hooked on the endorphins, and need more chilli to set them off as time goes on. It's true! =)

But that tolerance builds up gradually and naturally. I don't think food should be a kind of macho test, you know? If you're suffering, it's not fun! I like being able to eat pretty hot curries, because it means I have a much wider range of curries to choose from - but I don't see a need to push myself beyond my tolerance, as a rule. Eat as much chilli as makes you happy, even if it's only a tiny bit.

wow, that's quite amazing. I do seem to feel exceptionally good after Indian! I have the chicken como (excuse spelling) cos i loove chicken, and it tastes sooo nice! but wow, i didn't realize it was literally addicting! at least it's not bad for ya! Lol I do find though that I seem to crave it once a month or so. :)
Thanks for that,
Cheers!
