Well today I cruised into cAE as was planned. The awesome thing is about me, (and no I am not modest - or not intending to sound that way) is that I seem to be always on time where-ever I go. Like if I arrange a specific time, I seem to be there, despite my having to wait for public transport.
So yeah I left here at 10 and was in the city by 11. I was waiting at the lift of cAE when I heard
"Rachel, hi! what are you doing here on a Wednesday morning?"
I'm thinking "yeah, thanks a lot B!" Lol!
R: Talking to S----, well about too.
yeah anyway so I rode the lift to third floor with her. It was great seeing her after so long! I've kind of missed her! Well we're lunching Friday and she's helping me enter my VTAC preferences in.
No doubt she'll be updated with all my news - good and bad! Lol!
She's someone I talk to about everything now!
Anyway so yeah S---- came in and she basically went over the whole thing with me again. And she explained things in simple terms which is what I needed! also she kind of spoke slower as she knows it's impossible for me to digest forein info if it's coming at me at 100 words a minute!
yeah so I wouldn't say I know it all 100% - still absolutely no-where near, but I am much better off than I was before.
And this friday everyone is doing their sAC but the following Friday the class is off to the museum and so she gave me the option to do my SAC then. So I took her up on her offer. I didn't think I'd get much out of the museum. so yeah, of course, that's good - longer to prepare!
Oh I almost forgot about this subject line -- the reason for it -- on the way down in the lift of cAE today I heard this guy say "there's a blind dog"! It will for-ever amuze me how people call them that! :) Lol!
So when I got home I called D as I had to vent to him! I had called 201 to speak to Tertiary consultant.
T this switch bitch is a trouble maker big time! I honestly can't understand why they haven't got rid of her since, I know for a fact, so many clients have complained. She is soo rude! She's been there for a few years so there's absolutely no excuse to be short, sharp and just downright abrupt to people. I mean I did the switchboard course when they were offering it and damn, I use to get flustered and take it out on callers, but I hadn't been doing it for that long. um, she like has.
T and I use to get along well when she was just the client. but now I can't stand her.
She wasn't even busy today. Like the phone just rang once.
R: Hi, can I please speak to ------ JW?
T (Fast and abrupt) She called in sick today.
R: Oh OK, thanks. Will call back tomo ..."
T: Thank you ... click (down went the phone.
Now, in the switch course I was told that we're always meant to wait until the other person has hung up before we do. Anyway it's like common politeness. aaah, can't believe the woman; she didn't even let me finish my sentence for crying out loud!
I am thinking of writing an email to the mannager. that is not on. She is the window to that organization!
It's not the first time she's done that to me. she's actually really upset me in the past. I had written the letter of complaint but for some reason (which I can not remember now) I never ended up sending it.
Anyway I heard a rumour that she has threatened them with court action if they fire her or anything - ah who knows!!!
Anyway I got on here after that. just caught up on email and stuff - watched Neighbours. It's soo exciting. I found an LJ community on it! :)
I called Dad and asked if he wanted me to meet him in the city tomorrow. I am going to an information evening for Swinburn liberal arts and he's coming with me. so yeah he doesn't know where he'll be when exactly so he'll call me tomorrow. ah, I hate not knowing what I'm doing but oh well! guess will just find out tomorrow.
Earlier I plan to look at the bunch of web sites I was given to look up. Also will go through
S also gave me old class notes, (so thanks again S if you're reading! :)
that's another thing i wanted to bring up. So far I have only had one non-LJ friend comment on a couple of journal entries.
I would be interested in hearing from others out there! Feel free to leave comments; don't be shy! I know there are others of you who do read this. Obviously I don't know who exactly. but I know I did give this link to a whole bunch of non-LJ friends.
You certainly don't have too, but it's just to give me an idea on who else does read this.
No, I do not have the ability to track you non-LJ people unfortunately! so, now you know huh!!!
My left ear is giving me the absolute sh--s. I don't know if it will clear up itself, and that is not good news! Doc will be ready to kill me as I could be avoiding most of this - well maybe I should have gone with my instincts and realized there was a prob when my ears were sarrindged last week. I still have drops here. :(
ahhh, what to do! :( *cry*
well guess that's all from me. I'm tired.

Current mood: frustrated (with my ear)
