Well, last night I slept all the way through. I was starting to worry I wouldn't, as I had gone to bed to read a new LJ around like 7.30 and i gradually drifted off to sleep. Then, I got woken up by my phone call at 9.45 and once I spoke for a while, I thought I'd be awake for good, but I mannaged to drift off again and sleep the whole night. -- hopefully the insomnia was short lived; no repeat of 2004 (I think it was when it was going on for about six months running).
I just added to my previous writers block entry as I had skipped on the reasons last night which was part of the question; duh!
This weekend is pretty bare atm, but I figured it probably ought to be since my house is a mess, honestly, it is and I am going to clean it; as in, at least make couches look like couches instead of storage places. Also of course got to do the kitchen and possibly go out for some shopping though I think I will have a chicken kiev for tea tonight; tea? haven't even thought about breakfast or lunch! :) -- I should give Joy a walk sometime though.
Don't think i have Amy coming this week any more; think she may come the following week. probably will be better as I need to be at VA Tuesday and wednesday.
Joy is finally doing a Heartly and has decided that while I'm not in it, my bed will be hers. She was good for a while; my bad for encouraging her up. She did take a bit longer than Heartly to decide she preferrs it to her own though.

I wanted to do a writers block entry, but don't much like the one for today, so I am instead going to reflect on a prank myself and C (who is no longer in my life) did about fifteen years ago, because for some reason, it entered my head last night.

In other news, i cooked an entire chicken on Sunday; I was sooo pleased! it worked! mon and Kaz were there and shouted minimal instructions, but I am now confident enough to do it in future, which i will doo.
Mum and dad are turning their kitchen upside down once more as Dad lays the new tiles, so I guess it's an excuse to invite them over one night and show off my skills! -- I could do lamb as well though.
I then went back to mon's for the night. We three went out to that thai restaurant again; nice as! We ordered one of each entree.
Kaz drove me home Monday afo. Yesterday I went into VA to get help on some position description answering; I did benefit from it greatly. I also met a couple of new people which is always fun.
I now don't have to go in there til next tuesday and next wednesday; Amy will be here then, but she said she doesn't mind staying here doing her own thing; or she may like to stay on with James B; but I'll put that to her when she calls me.
That's bout all for now I's thinks.

P.S. oh, this morning (about 4) Joy was whining a bit. turns out she had Diarrhoea outside; a rare occurrence for her! She had it once after that; will just have to keep more of an eye on her today.

I enjoyed that entry; but go figure when it's something I know heaps about. I still should play around with this at fanfiction.net.
In other news, I've got a cup of wellness tea next to me; oh, i think i'm getting addicted; must find out if one can get addicted to tea; if so, i shall change my ways before it's too late, though, i don't believe i have an addictive personality as a rule with chocolate being the only exception!
I also had forgotten to mention in here that it seems i have lost the sim card for my optus broadband dongle; I honestly don't know how that could have happened as it was inside the dongle and hadn't been touched til I took it to Mon's a couple of weeks ago, and had attempted to use it before discovering the damn card wasn't in there. so guess I will have to ask optus for a replacement.
So yeh, as I say, off to Mum's Sunday, then to the funeral Monday.

In other news, I can smell smoke quite strong this morning! It's forecast to be 36/96.8 degrese today; not great conditions for the fires that continue to burn out of control since Black Saturday, (as they have officially named that day now).
