much freezingness
Oct. 20th, 2003 11:34 am*brrrrrr* I am sitting here absolutely freezing, but trying to keep my heater off. It's been a week and one day since I've had my heater on (go me!!!)
Well saturday was "bloody brilliant mate!" 28 degrese C, mmmm i like!
Yesterday it was raining all day and kinda more chilly and today, well, it's not raining but it's chilly silly chilly again. I haven't heard the latest weather forecast though, must do that.
Well I have decided that I am much better off planning ahead what I need to do instead of going by "spur-of-the-moment" because, that is when i stay totally unmotivated. whereas, if I plan ahead I am more likely to get things done! I did that during my time at Vermont sC and man that was one good thing about myself then, I was able to stick to my plans and homework schedules.
OK so I called up this thing this morning, but there is a reason! :) i had to confirm the name of an application form for one of my chosen courses -youth work actually. And So now when I get disconnected, I am going to call Mum to ask her if she taped "MEET THE PARENTS". i love that movie and had asked her to tape it but don't know if she would have remembered as she asked me to remind her but I forgot!
So there is that, and will also just tell her about my annoying right ear that is going "woosh woosh woosh" all friggen day long. My ear is generally clear, thanks to the drops that worked, so I do not know why it is doing that, making me aware that I am not dead yet and my good old pulse is still there! thanks darling ear! I can't get to sleep for it sometimes. it drives me nuts! I've had that before but it was when my ear was swollen so it was more understandable. It isn't now though.
Will just tell her for another excuse to winge to someone who will listen, Lol! and then maybe to go the docs, again. *sigh*
Also then got to call boxhill TAFE to ask if I have missed out on the youth work info evenings which, annoyingly, I probably have, *grrr! I just leave too many things to the last minute and it sucks! But I still have the worst phone fobia. Still freak when I have to call people I don't know like that!
Also have to call the VTU as the authentication number on my card is being rejected when I try and pay my telstra phone bill by phone. aaaah much dodginess! :(
And i have to call P from CAE to tell him not to worry about vidio tape for Bigbro auditions. They'll open up for the applications/auditions in November, so think I should just go on my own since VCE classes are finishing up soon.
um, anyone else I have to call?! Um, I dunno apart from friends!
I will do another two questions of the practice exam for History and then email it to her to get marked!
I stuffed up activesync on Thursday night. For some annoying reason I could not plug the cable into my puter, so think somehow my effort to connect the two brought acticesync up and did something strange to it cos when i did finally get the right plugs in, etc. It didn't want to work! So will have to look into that another time and just use my diskdrive now. *grrrr*
Yesterday I saw that E registered with schoolfriends. I was soooo excited, as I am always to see a familiar name! I wrote to her and she wrote back this morning.
She left us in grade 5 to move interstate. she sounded sooo pleased to hear from me and likewise with her! Made my day even though I haven't been through it all yet!
She, V and A use to play such tricks on me! Lol! ah, everyone loved me for being blind, Lol! I made their day! ha, don't worry am only joking! They were fun times though, really!
Like I told E, I could see the funny side to it all, in the majority of cases, but I did have um, a couple of so-called friends who were immature and liked to play with my blindness by making me chase them and hiding from me and stuff. ah, those were the days!
So gave e my email addi so that will be cool! another friend from the past! I have found quite a number thanks to good old schoolfriends.com.au.
I also wrote to a teacher from Vermont sC who registered; wonder if he'll write back?? I told him to say hi to some people especially Ms M; will be interesting!!
Yesterday was just chillin on here and stuff and that! Lol nothing new!
Saturday did pretty much the same. But saturday night was kinda freaky. Well first, i had the best sleep ever! Well that i'd had in a while anyway. My parents took Heartly so i had no distractions. Man I definitely needed that sleep! I caught up completely.
But here's the freakiness. OK I had both my front and back doors open Saturday as it was sooo nice! And i went to shut them before bed. I of course had my screne door shut and shut my other big one and turned the lock on the handle. Now when I got up yesterday morning my back door was wide open with just the security (screne) door closed and locked. Then when I checked the big door, it was still locked!
OK this has happened a few times previously but the door was never locked. yesterday it was. Even if I had of forgotten to shut that door, I would not have locked it as it's like an orderly, routine kinda thing -- shut door, turn lock around.
So yeah, I still wonder about that ghost that seems to have followed me from one house, to the other, and now to this one. mmmm am still not entirely, 100% sure about all that, but, what else would be going on?!!
OK that's about all for now anyway! Guess I have ended this with an interesting equation.
