May. 17th, 2004 03:33 pmyeah so i put my LJ back on the S1 system. Go the S1 system! that's why I am lookin different! Me took that picture away cos I am not sure who it was Lol! heh. it was meant to be Celine Dion but I dunno! also I tried to modify my comment links but it would appear i am not sure how to do that. I tried to paste the HTML language in that silly box but I am obviously not doing something right.
My computer hit the grave yesterday! R.I.P. it served me well! those four years I got from my faithful partner saw plenty of entertainment! It sung to me, it spoke to me, it read me stories, did my homework for me .. introduced me to others .. yeah OK will stop. last night Dad had just gotten XP up and running but then while it was still switched on he plugged another cable into my power supply so it can cope with more stuff but it created a big bang, some lovely fireworks and a lovely smell! so yeah! power supply is stuffed! He felt soooo awful about it and I wasn't even stressed or upset at all! something is definitely up with that one! I was telling him off for stressing so much. It is always sooo the other way round. anyway he took it home to investigate the dammage. My hard drives are OK i hope. It would be terrible to lose 14 gig worth of stuff - some which I couldn't get again most likely.
Well Aphrodite is gone and yeah for that! She was having the biggest argument with poor Merlyn yesterday afo while I was listening to the stream - sooo aggressive she is but of course she got sooo narky when ppl express their opinion and even tell the truth. hmmm sounds like someone else I know -- L I absolutely can not stand ppl who plain attack people if they don't share the same opinion. that is sooooo low!
Well I got home from stories cultures before and freakin missed Neighbours over some other stupid film we were watching - a version of Romio and Juliette -- we're looking at the culture of different versions and kinda relating it to our own. and we're also about to enbark on our last outcome for that subject which is picking a story that is ancient but keeps coming back throughout times and write and present (to the class) our own interpretation of it!
But I had no idea what was going on this morning. forget the producer but it was meant to be set in Italy?? yeah weird!
And, also in the subject I still need to hand in my Ned Kelly Assignment and my news story! ah damn! and there was something else -- ah yeah! our second last assessment task -- reviewing a book that says and/or argues something about a culture. I'm doing My Place by Sally Morgan. My parents bought me the abridged version of that ages ago but I called NILS today to get the entire version. from memory it's about eleven tapes but I am getting it on CD. that will be awesome stuff! In my version Sally really does talk and all her family does too. it's sooo cool! maybe I should review that version. I might ask O about that.
Yeah, while it seems I am writing some sort of a to-do list, let's seee .. we have a little multiple-choice test tomorrow on .. forget what .. a democracy. i am going to call T later as I didn't have a chance to get it scanned. Might get her to read it. Also I am dreading the political essay. Good chances of me going well in that one! not! And Learning to Learn we need to be starting to work on our argumentative essay. mmm can't do gay marridge again. might do cloning or genetic engerneering Lol he'll probably object as it's probably been done to death but meh! I like the concept. Oh and got to complete work for info-tech as well since I haven't been going to classes.
Ah yeah for end of semester and end of modjles! And next semester the equivillent to Public life is called "economy bla bla" oh just as bad. :( anyway ..
hmmmm I wonder who will get nominated tonight on BB? Let's see .. I bet .. igor (now he has to go next week or else I'll be very not happy jan!) and as for the rest, can't say. they're all great! But I was thinking on the train (yes, very new :) that Merlyn has a pretty good chance of winning I reckon. Go Merlyn! He's cool stuff!
OK me go and probably stick the stream on again.
