I am feeling so sad. I woke up this way which is kinda odd. I mean for the most part, i can't really pinpoint why I am. Maybe, I mean there may be some very obvious reasons which I am trying to deny, but I know it's a little more than that. Like, the weather as well. It seems to get me in these sad moods when it can't decide what it's doing - one minute nice, the next cold and rainy.
Rocky isn't coming til later. she was originally going to be here by now but her and Sam (adding the A N T H A) on the end of that) are having breakfast in the city after Rocky arriving from Cambra by bus this morning! So I think they will both come back this afo. they will cheer me up. I know we'll damn well have heaps of fun!
This morning DK sent me the PDF manual he found on the uniden site of my scanner, but I swear I didn't find it before! anyway I tried to convert it from PDF to txt but it seems to still not be reading properly, skipping over words in the middle of a sentence, so who knows?!
I know that this morning, very early I woke to this guy (well, may be a girl too who knows) doing burnouts somewhere and just flooring his car like ya wouldn't believe. When I was actually awake enough to realize what was going on, I was wondering whether I should bother calling the cops. cos last night on my wonder-scanner, I was listening to the police channel - or one of them, and they were talking about someone doing burnouts around Rinwood or somewhere like that. I guess I was wondering if it was the same guy since this was quite latish at night.
Oh wow, at about the same time, I was scanning between like 27 and 800 and I found the most awesome thing -- the voice sounded familiar, and it was like she was reporting on the grandfinal but she was like just practicing or something cos she kept saying to people "did you get that loud and clear? is that alright?" then she kept laughing and chatting about other general stuff, then she crossed to a caroline from Perth and told her what to expect when they cross to her and stuff. and yeah .. I heard the occasional crowd noise then the channel seven news music. I then realized I think that girl was tracy Grimsoure (excuse spelling) and they were in some sort of studio at the grandfinal maybe. and she kept talking to a "Tim watson" who is another name I recall from the Seven news! so that was really interesting. Oh I did hear her flipping through her notes and stuff as she was reading. Talk about awesome! :) then I was so excited i messaged HP On skype and called DK and apparently it's not totally unusual to hear stuff like that.
Then that morning I was listening to these two older ladies' phone convo. man they can talk! about two hours they were going, and the goss goss was flying man! Lol! and yeah, cool and that!
And Am came over. we went to Mackers for lunch then to safeway where we bought stuff and came back, listened to sound of music and made honeyjoys! they turned out well! :) easy to make. I now feel inspired to get a cupcake recipe off the net and try that - maybe while Rocky is at work one day and I can surprise her! :) and myself :) last time I made a big round perfect chocolate cake, it fell and smashed and never bothered ever since! it had been sooo perfect and I was about to ice it and get Mum to come over! cupcakes won't be that hard! so yeah that will be cool and stuff! :)
A and i had a good chat as usual. And it was like I fell in love with Julie andrews all over again! I sooo wish I could meet her! man that would be awesome! I've already met my idols/heros Celine dion, Gretel killeen, and now julie Andrews -- mmmm! oh it's not fair! I was thinking yesterday - yes maybe that why I've become sad, that I wonder if I will ever hear from gretel again?!
Ah well I think I will go, read the rest of my friends page and maybe go out and let the piano know I haven't forgotten its existence, cos it's shouting at me that I had promised it I was going to finish the entire read Sing And Play before I go back and see BW. I also got to learn what that language is from the sisuki book!
Oh we're gunna have some fun times this week! yeah for fun times!
OK I think I will try another round of PDF conversions.
I have that damn microsoft speech, or whatever that synth is in my head singing "PART OF YOUR WORLD" from the Million web site, and that is what is making me sad! :( that song is just sooooo nice! and if songs are overly nice and keep playing over and over in my head in that whiny little girly voice, that is enough to keep me sad! Maybe I should imagine Smashing pumpkins singing it (um .. evilness entails!)

P.S. If those damn stupid hurricanes don't stop interrigating my poor friends in Florida .. I will .. .. I dunno .. be really mad! *grrr
