(no subject)

hmmm I do not know why I am yawning now but ah well!
I just had my usual four wheatbix and neutralgrain underneath. and I called STA to say that I am going for it and I will be there to pay it in Carlton wednesday. just the flight, I asked for an extension for the other insurence crap!
Think Chris is coming over today but he's got to get his stitches out so he will call to confirm. I told him that I may be selling my minydisc and he said he may be interested but now am not sure. was talking to JH last night bout them and this morning I came to my heartly conclusion that if this does have longplay (which I think it does but not 100% certain) then I will keep it as i plan to record one disc a day in us which means 2 hours and 28 mins of recording time. If it only has the standard play/record, I will not worry and use tapes. I collected a whole box of blank tapes, most of them those good quality ones too (since I have a lot of stuff on puter now). I plugged the microphone in and it fitted so presume it may work but am not sure if it's a stereo mic. If not I may resell it and I got to get another stereo mic anyway since my old walkman one is all faulty!
I was trying to remember where the record switch was to test all these things but I just can not seem to find it again, so am thinking of going to get the model number again and seeing if I can find the manual in PDF on the net somewhere. that way I will be able to confirm if it has longplay or not! so yeah .. I have twelve minnidiscs, so I will need 16 more to make up 28 Lol!
and since I may not be able to find my model number, I think I will have to take a visit to my ebay page again and see if it's still on there! spose it would be.

well Chris came over today and was very helpful with wanting to figure out my minnidisc and then showed me the extra stuff he'd worked out! I don't think it does have longplay but we're still not certain! I thought the manual eluded to it when Nan briefly read a bit to me that other time.
But yeah, regardless think I'll keep it! And also that microphone works yeah! but it's unfortunately very mono which kinda sucks but still, at least I didn't buy it for nothing. it sure works well! but I am in the market for another stereo mic. I wish the other one still worked but ah well. it half does but one ear sounds all fuzzy!
Now I need to get that, a rechargible batery, an Ausie adapter for the American damn power supply (some more for when I go to US), and about sixteen more minnydiscs for US :)
I did though record a trip to Mackers which was had this afo a few hours after Milos arrived Lol! it was good. but it's funny! while I use to take mono for granted I just can't seem to do it any more! anyway I encoded the trip on to my puter when they left. well I did, but I forgot to unselect mic so I opt to do it again but then the battery went flat, so I will need another double A battery or a rechargible one but for now I will hold off on that since I will wait til my next pension comes in before i splurge more! actually wanna yeah will pay Ang back first then buy the goods! yeah!
It's all workin out. me lookin forward to US! :) like really good! enchanterglen informed Rich and I that he was able to move his flight forward again so that means that when I get into SFO we will no longer need to wait around as we thought we may have to do. Lol I'll try not to be too jetlagged though!
and then, off to meet my loving little internet sis caitlin45 and her family the next day! well, that being our arrangements so far!
OK think i'll be off to beddies and read my friends page! I'm overdue, Lol!
