I got up early to call the convention office since i had obviously not realized previous that there was a separate number! "silly young aussies" .. I think the way I am use to business communications on phone are slightly different to "over there" .. She answered, i'm startin to talk and she goes "can you hang on?" and I'm like "yeah OK (well here they will answer then ask if we can hold the line straight away) hmm. so I hold. then she comes back and says "hi" OK, so am not use to the casual approach. am use to "sorry about the wait, how can I help you" etc. so I confused as i am unsure if she had transferred me to someone different or what (as I heard like our version of call waiting beep) so I'm like "hi" so as to try and recognize if it's the same voice or not. she pauses and is like "hi" I'm like "hi" (oh stuff this will start again anyway) "Hi I'm Rachel Keyte .. bla bla" convention would have been recieved if I got the email confirmation - cool, that answers that question. "can I cansil a tour" "would you be able to do me a favour?" )me pause "um, yeah sure" "send an email and tell us the tour and we'll cansil it for you" (thinking um, that was really crap. but came in here and just emailed, so, yeah I am no longer going on the sherri's ranch tour yeah! :) Refund I sure hope! .. man I was having a good laugh with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
enchanterglen yesterday on skype. actually he was picking on me something shocking about that tour, and kinda started to imply what if it's a hands-on tour? Lol he really had me that time! Lol it was sooo funny though! hahaha the stuff we were saying! man I haven't laughed so much about a regretted mistake in a while Lol! and he kept reminding me (as i pointed him to the explanation) 21 or over. then I reread the vague description this morning and it had said "a high tea" (probably a bit of alcohol involved; no thanks :P) but .. some of the tour will be outside! oooh hot and steamy Lol :P yes, needless to say, whatever it actually entailed, I'm glad I'm not in it any more! haha! what a freak! I just hadn't been to a brothil before Lol (shut up Rich in my head :) and Glen for that matter also cracking up in my head :)
OK now I feel really silly! :) Lol
I was admiring the possibilities of a soundforge production (done by me and me) of a version of Sliding Doors. what if I hadn't cansiled the tour! Lol

(Jake had it but don't know what happened there :) also course means that I can be in contact with Mum and dad too and I'm sure that will go down well with them. Only I'm the only one she has on there atm. she barely uses the net any more except for study. I can't understand that one meself Lol! she got rid of icq (where we use to talk even in the same house but in the next room whereas we'd fight in person :) that's kind of amusing now! :)
