2 days til I leave for US!
Jun. 24th, 2005 01:07 pmas I write, it's 47 hours til I leave! .. I am counting down the hours on msn, it's quite amusing Lol well that's if I decide to be glued to the puter til sunday which won't really exactly be the case. So Tara coulddn't end up coming today cos she got sick; poor thing! hope she's not getting the flu :( and Chris didn't show either yesterday, so I feel loved! Lol j/k actually I like being on my own perhaps a little much, so by about 3 yesterday I'm saying to myself "OK now it's too late to come over, so don't please please" Lol as i helped myself to some English muffins which I toasted as a late lunch early tea Lol! then i decided to hard boil the remainder ofmy eggs and I had that when I was watching Neighbours and BigBrother! I just watched doctor phil about parents who think they are doing the wrong thing by their kids! I'll see what Oprah is about now on my trusty personalized TV guide.
Wow, when I get back into the routine of things when I get back, I am definitely going back to do youth work and/or find a part time or casual job. I have been very bored waiting round like this lol! it's all exciting now though, but it gets to the stage where I just can't live like this any more! As I say to so many people, when I am in amongst the study, i am the biggest procrastinator, but when I'm not, I get bored. Well I know it's probably a lot to do with the fact I haven't really been partaking in anything I truly wanna do. Like last year's subjects were compulsory and boring as heck for me (except for the creative writing subjects which I looove). But getting into youth work will be life-changing for me I think. I was talking to a girl Veronica at rock climbing about her teaching degree and she didn't go into it straight from school. she did a year at TAFE, so maybe I can look into doing that, or maybe even finishing off my liberal arts course afterall, and getting into a degree of sorts then at Uni. Endless possibilities, just got to take the time to really research what I do, and actually get somewhere. and hopefully not procrastinate in the hope that I will get a satisfying career that will give me a lot of pleasure as well as money! That's not a fantasy! I am definitely going to look into all that when I get settled back here!

Last night I was talking to Mum on the phone and she said she has a surprise for me to take on the plane, (knowing my pleasures, it would be lollies :) yeah! .. I dunno. was telling her how greatful I was for helping me pack and doing things for me unconditionally. And Dad will install me battery in my MD tomorrow I'd say, yeah! and cook his famous spaghetti! and, I am going to ask angie if she can possibly tape Neighbours for me while I'm gone! I mean she babysits but she could set the timer on her vidio. I normally wouldn't have worried but I don't wanna miss the 20th anniversary reunion because they're going to have a lot of the old cast members! anyway I'd get someone to set my timer but I think we'll need more than one tape, even if it is only for half an hour! so will see about that!
I'm trying to stand up a lot (even though I am being lazy and not going for a walk) cos I am aware I've got sixteen hours on a plane ahead of me yet Lol!
Got my Optus calling card, yyeah!
mm think that's about all. Oh, and I can actually do phone posts for a local call in US so am about to go seek out the numbers for SFO, Navada and Florida (the nearest as possible anyway.
Oh and bout 26 spam messages in my junk box on 0spam.com today, yeah! :)
