Jul. 22nd, 2005 01:55 pmSo yesterday we went to Betty's, and we went to Aaron's and little Maddy came with us. then we went out for tea at an Italian restaurant Louigi's. then we went back to drop Aaron off, then Betty. got my braille note all charged up thanks to her voice note power addapter. then I ended up calling Jimbo from there and spoke to Kimby as well :) very nice people! guess i didn't get to the jaws factory. the security is apparently now quite high and they no longer let anyone just walk in. but I was on the phone to them yesterday from the same city, wohooo! :) anyway figured I'd stay up rather late last night, since it's my last night of freedom here. cos tonight wanna catch an early one as we need to be at the airport by 10. my plane leaves at 11. Stopping over in Chicago midway airport before arriving back in SanFran 4:52. then guess it's catching the familiar Bart system back to Rich' And apparently he tells me we are going to a free concert in the park on Sunday where we can buy food and more food!
today we haven't done much so far. Just got up, had brunch and it's been raining heavily and thunder. Am not sure who we'll end up catching up with, but if no-one else of Glen's friends, we want to go to Chillies. well we do anyway but I would like to see Betty again. got her number anyway and she gunna get skype when she gets online again, yeah! :)
I need to start packing, doh! I have my case in such a mess -- nofin new when I'm away though! :( so will have to try and repack everything and may need another bag to borrow for all my goodies!
Sorta saddish to leave but kinda happy too cos this time next week I'll be home! and I keep telling people that it's been such a cool experience travelling independently and I have learnt a good lot I think! so next year, wanna try getting to JacksonVille, but course depending what I'm doing. And course I wanna go to UK as well, and Canada! so I guess I have got, or I will get the travel bug! but first I gotta get meself a job so I can save me dough quicker! *grrrr and stuff! hate money. it's evil and that! :(
