OK so I'm already thinking by the time Feb comes around I'll be ready to move into a colder climate! Lol .. it's hot today! just 31 and I have to say I am more impressed with Melbourne than other years where the weather jumps all over the place. at least it has actually climatised us slowly up to this point!
OK if I recall, in like fourteen mins, the official Melbourne cup will be on. but that is usually on 7 (I believe) and I'm on 10! and even all radio stations broadcast it! It's the one time they agree on something! anyway no I don't care! Lol it's 1st of November yeah! Bec's 22nd birthday Thursday! wow!
And I am sooo excited; I installed freedownload manager that I heard reviewed on Mainmenu and I was trying to figure out a way I could download multiple files at once, and I finally worked it out. I didn't want to do it manually all the time. this broadband is sooo fast now! so, I am downloading months in minutes, whereas cos of my lack of motivation i use to download maybe less than a month in one day. but this is good cos it means that I'll be caught up to 2005 in no time! I am already way further than I was last time (when I lost everything and had to start again). so this is good. I just set up a month to download and it works away for a while til it's done. it's sooo cool! I just press context menu on the first file, arrow up to "download all with freedownload manager" then I specify the folder name, select all in the list. (and for some reason it downloads the back button and this movie.gif thing and an index thing (which is what the directory has up top. - whatever that is) so I sometimes delete them out of my list of selected files to download. then i start the download and it does it. and it makes a sound and says "file" (whatever) is done, and it's great! yeah! :)
OK seven minutes to Melbourne cup! yeah! .. Lol I don't envy everyone out there in this heat, except the poor horses that don't have a choice! :( yeah well ..
