yeah, my scanner works now! for some reason it wasn't working well since my windows crashed but all fixed now and it works with K1000. dad was just here and we figured out that in the end, all we needed to do was unplug the USB thing and replug it in so the hardwear wizzard would come up! and now it's there! Omnipage was installed as we had thought that for some reason it had to be since there was no other reason we could tell it wasn't working. but then we found this hardwear thinggy out. and it works. and I've been scanning heaps of stuff. and version 9 of k1000 is sooo cool! it is more accurateit seems, and it does collumns and tables.
Just scanned me optus bill. only 6 bucks and one cent. it's cos they offered me 50% off to go back with them and I hardly use the phone really - just for the internet.
someone gave me a dead ring on both mobile and home phone last night at 2 AM. Couldn't be Chris as he's still away. I'll find out who it was and kill em! Accidently did that to d last Monday 7 AM his time mind you while really meaning to send him an SMS) so thought he might be getting me back! Lol doubt it though. *grrr
Now I am going to be finding all these things to scan. i was saying to Dad "It's soo cool; I can know what's on any bit of paper" and he's like "you've had this for years though" and i'm like "yeah but I just didn't know how to scan properly before." I've got a few books I've borrowed off people and now I can scan them! yeha!
I tried scanning cat's eye when I had B's book but I lost patience with it. It's a bit harder to scan books!

I had about a two hour skype convo with

louise_1985 before. We're really getting close friends now. tis cool! I can't wait for UK! :) 81 days! wohoo! nearly out of the 80's yeahyeahyeahyeah!
OK I'm going to explode or something. I hate these highs! cos they end up as lows if I'm not too careful! but I'm happy that I can now pretend I have sight! :)
