It's happened. 9 our time, 6 their time AM. I was listening to 3AW as it happened and they were crossing over to the jail in Singapore and various church and protest groups out here. At 9 .. well .. I can't even think about what happened. I had to turn the radio off (though it was about fifteen mins after it happened). I can't hear any more!
Singaporians didn't givein to this offence that certainly did not deserve the death at all. Jail yes?
I won't be going to Singapore. and no I'm not one to generalize. I know most of them had no control over this but, even if drugs were accidentally smuggled over, we wouldn't have a chance. And yes I know I went to US where the same thing could of happened. but, what can I say? i spose even then I took that risk!
Well getting ready to take Heartly to the vet soon for her anual vaccinations.

ouch!

man I still can't believe what i did today! my throat still kills! It feels so much better when I eat.
Yep I think RB was right when she suggested I put too much flower in and not enough butter. I followed the recipe but it's so dang hard to get butter in a cup then out again, especially when it's soft. But we live and learn!
It was even more stupid of me to attempt to eat a crumb when it was still hot, and the fact it was way burnt some how did more dammage!
ah dear! .. I sooo love shortbread!
I so thought i was gunna die today after that little damn eppisode! I so did; I didn't know what to do.
ah well hopefully it heals soon. :(
OK off to bed and stuff!
