OK so what on earth is it with all these weird cokey/parrotty bird things circling and fighting for the past afternoon? they are being very loud and, I love wildlife but I'm wishing they would shut the heck up (already - as some americans are starting to say as an incorrect context of a sentence)! This is just weird. I've heard a few cockeys around here lately. Now it's quiet for a while yes! the Blackbirds continue to rule though! I mean I love em! they can sing as much as they want!
Well as weird as this may sound, i have a new best friend -- yep, it's the trusty stable table! Lol I decided that to save being such a piggy about myself in the mornings when I attempt to eat food in here while listening to my LJ friends page or something, I will take the stabletable off the couch and eat on the floor with it on my knee if I have too! Cos I apparently don't like to use the kitchen table any more Lol! did it before while eating cocopops and milk for a late lunch Lol worked like a charm and I was too proud of my decision! :) I'm weird!
Neighbours finished last night with Harrold murdurring Paul! It resumes on the 9th of Jan next year. yeah! But I have been continuing to use download Maniger today to download months at a time of neighbours eppisodes, currently just starting on 2003. and this download maniger is awesome! means I don't have to set the download up every time. I do months at a time. could do the whole site if I wanted, but since I'm putting them in folders straight off, I'm not quite doing that!
and I've been listening to a whole lot more of em today. still only up to September 2001, and since I only came into the story line about end of 2003, I still have a lot to keep me amused! :)
Nan left at about lunch time after staying over last night after meeting me in the city.
Oh, before Mum tells me that she invited this old guy Bill in for christmas dinner tomorrow week (yes eight days, wohooo :) from up the street. he lives at a retirement village and has no family. and last christmas he rented a house somewhere and spent it alone. so, Mum just, must have been today, invited him to ours! so that makes it 16! .. I guess everyone has mixed feelings about it. Dad isn't too happy apparently and, I can kind of see where he's coming from. He's always been a family man! but then, Mum did a good thing cos spending christmas on your own would have to be the worst thing ever! .. I've already done that .5 times a few years ago cos i was being stubborn and it was not fun thank you! .. and I can just imagine when I get old like that and if I had no family. See, I know that I want a family so in that such case, I'll be fine but, not everyone can have a family who wants one! so I can really sympathise. He is Scottish! .. I still feel a bit weird about it, but it's definitely the thing to do and I'd expect that if I was in his situation. I doubt he'd stay too long anyway around all of us. The loud Keyte family especially with the two younger additions!
*grr those birds! well it will be dark in another hour or so! I guess I better heat up my tea soon; left overs from Thursday night - one sausage and some vegies left I'll put in the microwave. Hope it's alright! :)
