was I really in the UK for a month?
Mar. 5th, 2006 12:16 pmso it's over? over! over, and I am just wondering what is over and did anything just happen to me? or did I just have a really awesome detailed dream?
all I know is that I am sitting here at my puter, and the ergonomic keyboard I'm using feels very different to what I'm use too. I also seem to have aquired a couple of extra contacts on msn of new friends I made in the UK, so, it wasn't a dream! I do feel really spaced out right now but as Mum said, guess that's what flying for so long in the sky will do to ya! and also jetlag and weather lag! yesterday it was snowing in Preston and on the way to the airport we encountered extra snow storms and once on the plane at 8, it took an hour to take off as snow was getting forced off the planes wings and all that stuff!
well yesterday was an emotional day for me; looking forward to seeing everyone but at same time wanting to stay put. This factor of not really knowing what I wanted led me to tears both Friday and in bursts throughout my journey home! of course no-one noticed; hope not anyway Lol!
So my parents and Nan met me at other end oh and Heartly. it was so funny; to start with she didn't recognize me at all, hence no reaction when I walked up, but all of a sudden, about four mins later she started to jump on me and wag her tail like nothing else. obviously a cent of mine got through. Lol
I think i dosed a few brief times on the plane and didn't get my iriver out til KL where I listened to some Neighbours eppisodes; still got more to listen to though. Then as time wore on I started to panick that "they" forgot me but they didn't. it just seemed a long time!
anyway the flight from there to Melb was more iriverish! Lol
Out of the airlines I have flown with, Malaysian has definitely impressed me the most! I told them this too; they've been sooo amazingly helpful. I usually get so frustrated and panicky cos they're not the best at English but this airline has been the exception. Plus they are damn generous with their amount of meals.
well more later; too zonked to write much more now. Just thought I should step in and write some sort of a "welcome back to me" entry, or something.
Since I haven't been able to check email for about a week or more I have about 700 and something sitting here in my eudora inbox. lovely!
