BigBrother6 -- day 22
May. 14th, 2006 09:17 pmSo as predicted "it was time to go ... Karen!" She was quite contented about this as we all well knew! She did get to see all her kids on mothers day afterall!
Before BB I went to my UK entries and am still in the process of putting locations into the fields. (course it made me really miss it and all, but nothing changed there really.) then once that is done I will go back to my US trip and do the same!
I went back with Nan last night (about 5) and stayed over there. We then went to Bec's to meet up with the rest of em. It was a good breakfast, brunch really in the end, complete with dissert. Then Mum, Dad, ang and I went back to Nans so dad could set up her CD player she got from aunt J and also to put a mirror up that we gave her!
Then I got all excited cos for the first time, I noticed there was a mirror on the wall behind the loundge couch. so I kneeled up to "pretend" to look at myself (thinking it's just gunna be like every other time where I can just see a blurry blob) but, .. I actually, to my slight amazement saw more than that! I saw this blob of lighter colour surrounded by darker colour a lot plainer than I usually would see in mirrors! I learnt that the darkness was my hair. It was definitely much darker than I'd thought! It looked almost black (even though it's said to be dark brown). then, yeah the lighter bit was my face. course I still couldn't see any detail but it still looked so astonishly close up to what I'm use too! (I think too, that i notice if I have my head further back, I can see more clearly). When these things happen (when I can all of a sudden see myself a bit) I can't help thinking "wow, I actually look like a normal person and everything! :)
(it's my journal so I can boast about how pretty I am if I want! :) Lol nah .. seriously, not like that (even if this were just for myself to read) but I guess I felt like I combined what I've been told (by many brilliant people :) with my amazement at seeing my face up as close as I did!
In summary, it was definitely the mirror and probably the lighting combined.
OK time to go ... RdFreak .. to bed and listen to more neighbours.
