Jul. 27th, 2006 02:01 pmToday is a very significant day. It's not my birthday (well not exactly); Not Heartly's; not my best friend, not my worst enemy (or should that be best enemy??) hmm .. anyway .. it's tada ... the third birthday of my Livejournal! Yep, three years ago on this very date (27th July) I wrote my first LJ post!
Since then I believe I have changed a little. But I still haven't mannaged to get any tertiary qualifications (not through lack of trying though ... stupid swinburn for employing the wickedest witch of em all!). Anyway no good saying "what if" .. just got to look to the now and the future!
Yes I've been overseas twice since my LJ birth; not just to NZ (with family) but the northern hemisphere by myself! Met so many amazing people on and off line! mannaged to gain heaps of friends and unfortunately lose some of them (due to my being lazy).
so yeh. I have moved on, probably most with my emotional development.
Let's hope that by this time next year I am more where I want to be in life; not just for the short "then" but the long-term hall, or something! :)
I am going to do my usual traditional purchase for another year of LJ payd features (course not that I can use many of them but I like giving something back to LJ). And will celebrate with my third ever chocolate crosont (or however ya spell them; some proper technical French spelling :)
I finally tried one Tuesday on the way to station to meet C then we went to meet M, had lunch at Mackers and went back to her and chris' house.
Then yesterday I got two from the bakery near here, duh?! I tried M's suggestion of putting it in the microwave. I did it a bit much; it was sooo soft, but soo nice when it was cool enough to eat! chocolate was all runny and yum! so got my other one to do in a bit!
Just had breakfast. lazy day as that time of ..
Oh I'm prob not doing drama but instead think I'll be doing their TV presenting course at the Rehearsal room. so chatted a bit about that yesterday!
and last night, on BigBro, there was an eviction where Chris got voted off, (so at least I know my SMS to save Camilla Monday night wasn't for nothing). Now I guess I better do one more before sunday's double eviction.
And also obviously myself and a few others on the BSCgames list have been doing audio trailers for each other to listen too. It's fun, but going to try Pipe again on this keyboard (as the other has got no rubber stops left so it keeps slipping which is no good for winning BSC Games!) This poor little compac (that I am now using for my primary puter) seems to be a bit slow now too! It's got more ram than my other puter but every time I do something I can hear the hard disc running for dear life before jaws talks again. ah also, Dad fixed the other puter. a cable on motherboard was loose he says. I dunno .. so maybe I should go back to using the other one and just use this for all my albumns and other data for backup!
