mirror mirror on the wall!
Nov. 30th, 2006 12:43 pmWell thanks heaps to
chocolab I now know how to successfully use the pound/hash key when calling gismo! It takes a bit of time to arrow to the numbers but at least I can activate a hash/pound/# so yeh!
Yesterday I went to hear
lauren_kh's recital. It was brilliant; couldn't fault it!
I got a free cab ride from flinders street because, due to mis-communication on mostly my part, we ended up at the suburb Ormond as oppose to Aumond college where I was going to originally meet L. However, after dozens of phone calls to and from L, I met her at the music faculty where JS met me outside and we went in to meet up with bW also, and a few more of L's friends. anyway I'd insisted on at least paying a bit, but he insisted I didn't, so that was good. and btw I got my cab card in the mail yesterday, just in time!
After her recital, B, S, J (her other friends) and myself at lunch at a CAFE. then B left and the four of us chatted for an hour longer or so before L and I walked on to Aumond college. I saw her room which was cool as I hadn't been there before, and then L gave me a grand tour of other places within the college such as the singing room, the chappel and the dining hall.
I was very impressed and contemplated, fir the first time, how cool it would be to live in at a college while at uni. You'd always have stuff to do and people to talk too.
And think L probably thought I was crazy. i was impressed with this almost full length mirror in her room on a wall next to the curtains of all places for a mirror, lol! anyway, I could make out a lot in this mirror. I could see a bit of colour in my face, in the contrast of my dark top. I was glued! Lol I'm just not use to being able to see so much detail in mirrors, well, it's a lot for me anyway! Now I want a full-length mirror! Lol
anyway after our grand tour, I caught a cab back to flinders, wandered home and that was my day!
Last day of November! wow! tomorrow, the countdown begins til chrissy! It should get better for me here on in, i hope! U.K was the bestest this year but the remainder has sucked hard freakin core! ah well; "life is what ya make it" is what everyone tells me! yeh yeh yeh!
til next time, RdFreak
