my first week
Feb. 16th, 2007 05:55 pmWell, first week went well! I took the calls today (still with the others taking it in turns to listen so they can direct me if needed), but about the only problems I have is knowing where to put them when they give me their different situations. need to improve on that but apart from that, am picking up a lot.
It'll actually be good to have a sleep in tomorrow and Sunday! though it's been sooo hot all week and will be 38 tomorrow and Sunday before a cool change, but hot again next week! we're really getting the summer in full force!
I just heard today that we are allowed to go on holidays if we talk to the boss and make sure we can have each other covered. so will start organizing my mid-year thing soon as soon as I've sorted centerlink out. called them today but got to call back tuesday and let them know how much I've earned? nothing by then so hope I didn't hear the girl today say they're not going to pay me til I tell them! *shudders*
but as I still get my pension (and will be applying for mobility allowence next week, finally damnit), I will be able to afford a trecker in not too long at all! I like! Since now my M-power transplant isn't essential, I can do this! yeah! and I can get overseas maps accordingly; double yeah! :)
Tis all for now. It's sooo hot and I am cooking tea, of course in time for when I sit and watch neighbours.
