Forgot to mention in previous FO post, that I got a letter accepting my deferral of primary teaching. this is good though who knows whether I'll be there or not next year. they're going to contact me in september though. so they have shut my deakin email account down.
Also Wednesday afternoon at SY station I was talking to a group of three americans who were out here on holiday. they were all from Michigan and absolutely loved our heatwave! huh?! they weren't looking forward to travelling home Friday (yesterday.) They were all lovely though.
and yesterday I was shocked at Heartly. she grabbed someone's breakfast out of their hand. she has never done that before. Here's me, bitching at a few of the others that let their guide dogs get away with that. anyway I felt sooo awful and gave the lady $2.50. since it was vegemite toast which she brought from home, that was OK. I tried to get it out of Heartly's mouth, but then figured she probably wouldn't want it back, Lol!
anyway turns out I'd spoken to her before; amanda who's also blind and lives in blacky. so we spoke all the way in on train; she was off to 201 computer class.
I felt so awful even though she told me not too.
anyway Heartly won't be doing that again.
