today and stuff
May. 3rd, 2007 07:56 pmWell, haven't done a heck of a lot this week! of course I finalized my German dates, so that's pretty cool! :) looking forward to it all; 67 days! :)
Yesterday Mum came over for lunch and she watched doctor Phil and half of Oprah with me. I don't watch oprah much any more but yesterdays was an interesting enough topic; about the paranormal and about how some people are true believers with talking to the dead. It's a kinda co-incidence because of Skye's storyline on neighbours at the moment where she's seeing Terrence to talk to stingray.
Today I went to pancake parlour with Shell and Curt. Shell wanted to take me out for my birthday and she payd $10 towards my chicken pancake which has now gone up to a shocking $23. I remember when it was $18.
Also got my exciting pay today, and that + just my pension from centrelink gave me $1400. was happy about that, and it's when working full time all the time sounds really good! but of course I'll give it a year before I see about getting more time; this is good for now.
tonight was the second time I successfully cooked chicken schnitzel. got the crumbed roar chicken from butcher, but, last night and tonight was indeed the first times I cooked using the real oil in my little fryingpan. worked well! :) Oil is very messy to work with though. makes everything (including hands) so so sticky, even when I wash them with soap and all, *grrrr*
apart from that, I'm back to really really wishing I could get on bigBrother. Indeed, for a while, it had passed mainly, and I was more or less accepting that a blindy would never get on there, and though I still kinda think that, I just watch them and imagine myself being on there! .. of course, as is the understandable argument, I know I couldn't do Friday night games, it would definitely not be safe for me! It's just way too visual, at least how they've been doing it for the past few years. Not to mention most of the tasks! like before, can't see BigBro wanting to make necessary changes; regardless of whether they ended up getting my letter a few years ago.
but, I decided a while ago, that unlike the past couple of years, I am definitely going to go to the next audition. When I went with
52girl (whom sadly we seem to have lost contact mostly), I wanted to go up to the guy hoasting our group and say a few words, but I was too shy. this time, i think I will. And, good thing is, I was talking to the lovely
ladybugoxo about it, and she'd prob be the person who I'd go with, so it's nice to know I'm not the only one any more! at least I've now got a friend who would be keen to go as well. So, if there was in fact a next time, (and who knows), I will try and get a point across to the guy in charge of my group; at least I would have done everything I could! .. and lining up all day, it will be worth it. But I won't do such a stupid thing and take Heartly this time! gosh, what was I thinking? poor doglet! ah well!
she did such a good job today. when we were first walking through the food court at forestHill, to my utter surprise, she did not put her head down to grab food once! Lol she just kept her head right up and kept following Shell and curt on to the escalators, and then the other, and then, right into the restaurant.
til next time, RdFreak
