a month til germany! :)

So, was just talking to B on skype before and was saying how it's now exactly one month til I meet up with her again! It's been so long since we've seen each other, so it's going to be awesome reuniting after all this time, where, we've both changed a heck of a lot!
so yeh, course, one month til I enter my first non-English speaking country! it will be exciting, and as I've said in here before, indeed, an adventure!
The night before last, I dreampt about that contraversal tape I had called "space Demons" and, I wanted to find it yesterday but no good! tried again today without much luck. I want it though! I want to hear it again! Remember how J had it for ages cos I didn't like the "hatred" words that were in it, but then I got over that and asked for it back!
but, I just want to find it damnit! :( .. I think it was year 7 I taped it from the Vermont SC library.
and yesterday and this morning, in going through my tapes, I found a few with Nat B on them! We had such good times back then, and she was such a funny person! I often wonder how she'd sound now? cos even i sound older than i did in 02 and 01 etc. I am sounding older each year but don't realize it.
I also found a lot of Ang and I playing when we were little, and she was soo cute! had the cutest little laugh at one point!
found a lot of J as well! :) me and my literally thousands of tapes, and no I can't get rid of any of them. I just leave them mostly unsorted in the three or four big boxes! aaaah!
that's about all. Oh we went to parents for tea last night. originally we were going to have a roast but dad ended up cooking his famous spaghetti. then Nan and Mum ended up watching Miss Potter, and despite my stubborness to remain interested in non-DVS movies, I ended up starting to follow it so I watched it as well with dad.
My cold and stuff is nearly over but now I have this annoying cough which is always made worse with my reflucs.
apart from that, not a lot else to report. Nan left early this morning.
Oh, have been trying to activate the new system access to go which I read about on tH's LJ, but it won't work for me. I go to the page and decktalk says "press enter to continue" so I do, and nothing happens. so I load jaws again and find it's a download dialog. so I try again, a number of times to leave and reload the site cos we are meant to have speech the whole way through, and if I'm lucky it will say "ress alt plus R" but when i do, nothing happens.
so I actually tried to download the file, then opened it and it told me it detected another screen reader running, so I unloaded, but then nothing else happened.
so after having to reboot my puter cos jaws stuffed up after that, I tried it again, but this time, just ran the file from it's current location. came up but still detected screen reader, so turned it off and nothing happened, *deep breath* so, yeh I dunno! it's only in beta, so it's bound to improve.
it's a great idea though and, the site doesn't say, but I wonder how much it will be? Obviously the ideal thing would be if it were free. I mean, sighties get instant access to windows obviously and it's no fair that we always have to pay additions but ah well; it's the way it has to be! and I know that serotek needs their $$$ just like every other company.
Also i note that I still don't know what FS' problem with that company was, and why they were out to su them; never found out. just got a forward on vip-l last week that that's what was happpening so who knows? guess it's something about them using a FS name for their product, who knows?! it's crap and it's mean and I don't like it! :) Lol
