Jul. 8th, 2007 10:56 amWell, the countdown is almost over! -- I still got most things from that list to check off, then I'm right to get to M's, socialize for a while (and if Chris starts something, I'll be ready). and tomorrow I, along with parents and Nan will get to the airport by 5 PM, to take off at 7.15. I want Ang to come but she'll still be at work.
the plane ride will be long long long. the first few hours is always a novelty but then it gets extremely tough. Like last year, I will be travelling (including stopovers) for over a day. I'll also have an extra day to contend with.
so yeah, I just can't wait to see everyone! :) It's going to be amazing, I hope! I can't find that U.K converter. may get Nan to see if she can help me when she arrives here later. If worst comes to worst, I know J will help me out, but I already have one of hers here. anyway it can't be far; I use to always find it last year.
I was reading just then about stan Zemanek's illness. I hadn't heard of his tumour til a few days ago, and haven't been up with the news so wanted to see of any happenings there; fortunately nothing so far.
Yes, he was soo rude and horrible to people, but of course most couldn't wish death on anybody so young, (he's 60.) it's still so shocking; poor old guy!
my stupid water filter aint workin for some unknown reason, so I have to make do with tap water, and I hate it! -- it's not terrible, but water is not meant to have a flavour and tap water always does and it's not good. I'm use to my pure water. will have to get daddy dearest to take a look.
OK, I'm thinking I'll go and have breakfast while I catch up on me friends page, then I might go charge me Iriver, or maybe I can put music on it first since it seems to keep its charge for ages. I've got some stuff on there, but i may have a change. I'll be sure to put some Aussie stuff on it too; maybe will leave the Kath and Kim on there! that's just the bestest! :)
