So Maz left for K's before. I had called to say it's prob not good to spread my cold around. don't get along with those few anyway so yeh! we had chrispy bacon sandwiches for lunch. thanks to Lou (who told me you can get bacon just as chrispy in the forman, I told her my life won't be the same!) so yeh, tried it, and it worked! yeah!
I want my trecker now! not in five/six weeks (or possibly longer if my order isn't with the next shippment), now!
When it's known that I'm getting these expensive bits of blindy equipment, I am always told of a cheaper option. "I can do this, or that, or this". Not that I'm not greatful at all, it's just that there's so mmuch research involved in how I can make my life as cheap as possible and, as my old English friends seem to say, I can't be asked!
the blindy products are frightfully expensive, and it sucks the arse off a cammels back, (does that phraze exist? or did I just make it up in my efforts to remain positive and cheerful?) but I guess, as well as all the parts being expensive to begin with, there's the labour of putting them together/modifying stuff, as well as the people's proffits that need to be got!
at the end of the day, if I've got the money, I will buy and not put much effort into research.
I prob take enough shortcuts as is. lol
so, again, I am greatful to everyone looking out for me!
My cold gave me an OK night last night, but by this morning it was terrible.
Not the liveliest girl on the plannet, but Maz knew this. Lol
She's going to ask J if she wants to come back and have some Indian with us. But, I really doubt she will. She won't want to risk getting a cold, and she's already been out for lunch. we shall see; she may surprise me! Lol
this time next week, I was still in dubai I believe; yes i was. wouldn't be leaving til 8 AM tomorrow.
Since taking the ciprinal again I have been a lot calmer and even cheerful. My sadness for being back here was too great and painful; honest, got to be honest. I mean, course now I say being back here isn't too bad; (my job for one thing! it is well-paid and, it was responsible for my lack of jetlag this week), but I want to be living in my second home for a while.
Since saying the people "over there" are friendlier, I've jinksed it even more. ah well!
at least next year I'll be able to buy a map for U.K and take me trecker; something I was looking to do this year before buying a whole heap of work clothes got in the way.
Til Next time, RdFreak
P.S. Can I have my trecker/maestro now, please? I can be studying up the maps while I'm here, kinda bored. I want.
