my week, almost

Well this is one of the few long breaks I've had from writing in me LJ.
I am currently listening to some old neighbours eppisodes again, and as I found I got to where I left off downloading finally this morning, I have been continuing to download more. am up to October 05. it's certainly not as quick doing it without that free download mannager as obviously it means I have to manually start all the downloads whereas I had the FDM download a whole month at a time without any effort on my part.
anyway I remember most of the storylines, but I had completely forgotten about that one involving Caila and how she was going to give her baby to Max and steph. then, not that I'm up to it, but i remembered that Boyd and Caila end up having a little fling! yeah for memories! :) Oh and I got to hear my Linda Hartley again last night! I was so excited when I read she was coming back into the series; but unfortunately it wasn't for long! --
anyway I hadn't been listening to these for so long and I've just been laying around really enjoying it; it's the thing that's keeping me sane after the latest barney; otherwise I'm a mess! -- I do my best; I wish people can see that I really care. I know sometimes I go about things the wrong way, and it again, seems evident here. but I try!
I need a promotion with my whole life! (that's what Cindy said about Stew's working career but I thought I could carry that on to mean my whole life.)
Dad called me this morning and said he was at market and saw a 250 gig hard drive for $80. so I replied "yeh get it!" and would fix him up later etc. .. so, since this poor little puter is kinda fast running out of room (man it's been good having such a big hard drive though; not use to it), i will back up all my files on to that and have this one for just my programs and text documents; that may allow K1000 to stop crashing anyway! -- so now I get back into my scanning.
and according to the lovely Humanware team up in Syd, this week should be the week "they" or I, get my new toy! so looking forward to that muchly! then on my week off next week (finally) i can start hopefully learning how to use it.
C is coming with J to spend some time with me when they get back from the show; we'll be doing the Indian tonight but as they'll be back soon, am waiting for a call from them. will be cool to see C again; haven't seen her since we were all up in Syd a few years ago!
um, so that's weekend and future stuff, what has happened since last Monday when I wrote in here last? can hardly remember! I know there were a few things I wanted to write. Oh yes, i met up with Anita and Michael every day and we bussed and trained it in together! -- I saw anita at richmond friday afo too!
I was so tired friday; all the early starts caught up to me!
I am currently up to 81 friends on facebook. The list has grown quite quickly this week and now I think I have caught track of all the ones from class of 98 from Facebook.
course the site still doesn't seem to work as well here than it does to work. I am totally stumped as to why that is, and it's just soooo frustrating; have to click everything twice, and sometimes refresh the page and then the clicking of the link or button or whatever will work! weird!
I just found out today that I've had various requests like vampire and quiz requests which I can't seem to activate. guess will go to work, see my jaws settings there and try and memorise them for here, cos i'm sure I need to change another setting in jaws; if it works fine at work, obviously there is a setting somewhere that I need to change. ah well!
back to my neighbours listening and downloading again I guess; can't go insane!
I've just thought, at this second, i might look into that acting class that C was a part of with JR (from neighbours casting). i was talking to R about it all again last week. Was originally talking about voiceover lessons, but acting will be more worthwhile for me, if I ever did get something out of it of course! :) Will email C again as I can't remember the web site.
