oh oh

Well i missed the deadline for my LJ idol submission so I guess i'm out of the game, woops! maybe next time.
today was Melbourne cup day, and I have no idea who won, even though I have heard the announcement several times!
this morning J came over for a couple of hours where we caught up and I tried to extract Charlotte's web; most of it worked oK but the middle bit was missing and also the very end.
work this week. worked the fulltime shift yesterday and of course am getting paid for my day off today so that's good.
weekend was awesome! After that amazing time I had, I turned up to rB's Sunday and we had a wonderful lunch that J had cooked.
it was pouring all weekend which helped with the catchment areas thank goodness, but it meant my intention of having a short train ride ended up being an expensive cab ride cos I still don't have a working M40; but it was all good. caught the train home though.
Dad installed SP2 on here and after this stupid puter somehow losing my modem controler, it had to be loaded back on from the CD and is now working well; though aVG needs to be reinstalled again cos it's now saying there's a "licence error".
right, that's all; I'm tired.
